I have wasted so much money going to Walmart and Michaels the past few years and paying about $2 for 2 hooks every time I needed a new size. I finally caved one day after being tired of driving around town looking for a specific hook size to no avail. This set has so many sizes and they hooks are NICE, not made of that cheap plastic other stores has and comes with so many extra things! I used to use bag twists as yarn markers but these come with yarn markers and scissors and so many other things I never knew I needed!

This was a great starter kit! Had everything I needed and more to jump right into the next project! I did actually try out a few other needles and I really like the ergonomic ones more, but I only bought one size to check out so I still use the other needles. It’s comfortable to hold and use but I do get a few aches with these. I also tried a plastic one and it really slowed me down. So overall perfect! If you have a size you use a lot I’d suggest the ergonomic one for sure.

By far the best value crochet set you can buy. Just one hook at Walmart is $2.50 and this came with a hook in every size plus needles, markers, gauge guide and many other goodies. The case is well made and I will be getting more as gifts for everyone even slightly interested in learning crochet!
