Came a day early!!! Brilliant product. For the money it is worth it. Ok...so its a little less robust than the ones the cafe, uses but they cost £20 at least, so this is not heavy solid steel but made strong enough for long term use unless you're an idiot. I bought it for soft scoop Ice cream and cookie batter....its perfect for both, not for the rock hard stuff, adjust the amount you scoop to get the result u want. Its like everything else these days...if u force things they break. The mechanism is ok and all works as it should but if u want something for rock hard ice cream you'll pay twice the money. I will still have this in 10 yrs time. My overall impression is: good item, worth the money, don't force it and it will last, it will do what it says, Good seller, fast delivery, I would buy it again for a friend.

Perfect scoop for mash potato or ice cream

Got this scoop because my kids wanted one, but he price was great and when it came they loved it, but it only lasted a few days, we used it for mashed potatoes no problem the first few days, we didn’t fair so well when it came to ice cream, in fairness it was hard but the mechanism that sweeps the scoop out broke. I’m not sure if we were just unlucky or the ice cream needed to be soften more, at the price it was good for a while

Pretty useless in ice-cream. Feels like its going to snap in half then it doesn't release the scoop very well at all. Honestly, its worth spending a few more pounds for a decent one . You get what you pay for and in this case, its true. Cheap price, cheap product!
