Super Lustrous Lipstick by Revlon 828 Carnival Spirit

This product was exactly as it was described, I love the creamy texture, feels so lovely on the lips, I also love the sheer colour it’s not too bright, arrived early and I was informed by the seller at all times, seller was polite and courteous, excellent customer service,

This 'Lippy' is ok... good value but slightly lighter colour than what i would normally wear ...however a change is as good as a rest. Does'nt stay on very long though.

I don't know about the rest of you but when I'm browsing on a mobile and a photo of a lipstick that you like the colour of pops up, I tend to buy it based on that. You don't buy it based on the name (unless you already happen to know what you're looking for), I mean 'Carnival Spirit', could be anything couldn't it? You look at the picture, think 'that'll do', buy it and wait for it to arrive.When it does, the colour isn't even close, it is only by coming back to the listing and flicking through the other images that you find you've been misled. Three photos of a lipstick, 2 definitely a gorgeous deep pink, the third more reddish but still similar. None of those are showing what you are buying. It's orange. Very disappointing.

Carnival Spirit:Funny how different colors from the same line can be so different. This peachy-orange lipstick is very pretty, but quite sheer even on light-colored lips. It has the feel of a thick gloss as opposed to a lipstick. Because it's not as pigmented, it will wear off faster than some other colors. Still a great color for summer and very moisturizing.Color: Love That Red.Extremely pigmented. Even a little shows easily on your lips (I am fair skinned). Really sinks into your lips and has a great texture. It doesn't come off on your glass easily. I really love this red and I enjoy wearing it when I want my lips to pop.For a little extra tone, use this as a base and top with Carnival Spirit.Color: Va Va VioletA deep color for autumn, winter, or evenings out. Recommend a lipstain underneath if you have light colored lips if you're unable to apply for a while. Takes a few swipes to build up the color, but it's very pretty. Definitely a cool color. Needs a bit of chapstick underneath for moisture.

This product could be described as orange or a bright coral. It is nothing close to a true red.
