Waffle Iron Genius

The book makes a nice presentation for waffle ideas. Some are far fetched because it looks like too much ingredients for a waffle, but most recipes look pretty doable. This book has great color pictures for each recipe along with detailed recipe descriptions for what to throw into the waffle mix or lay on top of the mix before closing the iron. Inspired by the book, last night I improvised and made waffles (Bisquick). I added canned French string beans and sage and thyme. They came out perfect! I cubed up some leftover roasted chicken and heated the chicken up with mixed veggies and added chicken gravy. I served the chicken with gravy over the crispy savory Belgium waffles and it was a family hit. I bought extra copies of the book to give as hostess gifts for holiday parties to go along with the traditional bottle of wine or dessert.

I wanted to be able to use my waffle iron more. Now I do.

Got this to go with a waffle iron gift for nephew. He loved it. Recipes are easy to read and no crazy ingredients. Only complaint is cover was a little bent but still kept it.

I was tired of cooking the same old thing all the time ( in a rut ) . This gives ways to spice up old favorites and an easy way to try new ones. I liked it so much I bought several as Christmas presents.

I bought this as a companion to the NordicWare 15040 Waffle Iron i just purchased on here and OMG the possibilities are ENDLESS. I never knew one could make so much delicious food in a waffle iron. My suggestions to noobs would be to make sure you oil your waffle iron good enough when you make stuff, so you dont have a sticky mess and a waste of good ingredients.

This book has some great ideas for a waffle makers. I've tried a few recipes already and have shared them with some friends. Making a 'grilled ham and cheese' in a waffle makers...great idea. Thanks so much for putting this book out.

This is a great little cookbook idea for a variety of unexpected (but wonderful) ideas for creating on a waffle iron. Got it as a gift for my daughter, along with a new waffle iron. Will see how she likes it after trying some of these - everything from pizza to desserts!

I bought this book and another waffle recipe book together. They both had recipes that were easy to follow. The recipes in this book were not necessarily new or innovative.

I always though that waffle irons were for waffles. Think again! This book has some terrific cooking ideas using your waffle iron. The recipes are simple and straight forward and taste great. Love the coil binding (personally I think all cook books should have coil bindings - easy to keep the book open at the page you want).
