Initially when I purchased my Uplift desk, I did not get the rolling casters, which as it turns out was would have probably been the most useful upgrade to have done. These were half the price of the Uplift option and were available next day through Amazon. I made sure that they were the same diameter (M8), and they worked well. The stem was quite a bit longer than what the Uplift desk would take so I had to cut about a half inch off from each caster but otherwise I have zero complaints. I like the larger size than what comes with the standard uplift desk casters as it makes it easier to roll and maneuver when needed. Locking mechanism works well.

Tried purchasing these from our local hardware store and the price for 1 there is what I paid for these 4.

Looked good and installed and loaded the shelf fine but before I moved the shelf much at least one of the casters looked off. I don’t believe I had over 450lbs on the shelf but the shaft on more than one bent to wear I can’t trust it and will replace. If you have a large shelf or are going to store more than light/medium goods go with a heavy duty >=600lb caster set or at a minimum install, load and move the shelf some before the 30 day return period is over.

Nice wheels but didn't show up with the hardware. I have nuts, washers, and wrenches at home so I just fixed it.

Perfect fit and replacement, these wheels are better quality than the original wheels that came with the cart, and it also rolls much smoother, I am satisfied.

I tried to find set of wheels (3” or larger) to allow me to use it on IKEA Jerker desk which has only adjustable height static leg bottoms. The M8 size fits the hole but the 1” stem seems a bit sorter than the 1.25” original IKEA Jerker ones but so far they look sturdy enough. I put them on all of my IKEA jerker desks. On Carpet, the locks may touch the top of the carpet however and maneuvering can be a bit hard, especially if your desk has loads on top of it. Good for the price though.

Once installed, they have a lot of in built play in the bearing race, leading to lots of wobble. If you were hoping to have a wobble free, mobile table as an example, these won't do.

Very good quality wheel, looks sturdy with good quality rubber wheel, spin mechanism is very smooth and wheel turns smoothly. I bought this to replace a broken wheel on my kamado grill cart (very heavy). Note that the screw bolt width is not quite 3/8". More like 2.6/8" wide when I actually measured it (see photo attached). So it couldn't be screwed into my existing grill cart hole securely, but I'll use it anyways as I'm desperate to have a 4th wheel under my kamado cart.

Casters were to replace the ball type caters that had broken on a heavy brass bed. We are pleased with these functionally and visually they are better than we expected

The do not hold the weight they are rated for. I would return if I could.
