The Purpose Driven Life Deluxe Journal

Excellent value for money. It looks really classy and the paper and print inside the journal is of excellent quality making it so easy to write in. It would make a brilliant gift for anyone who wants to keep some form of journal and could even be used, I think, without its 'go along with' book Purpose Driven Life.

This book is a great tool for recording specific details on the development of a persons walk with God over specific period of time.

I am really enthusiastic about the 'parent' book, Purpose Driven Life, so I thought this journal might help me on my second read through. It does up to a point, but really I think a plain notebook might be almost as good. Unless of course you are working with a copy of PDL that is not your own and you have to let go of once you have read it. Then the journal would come into its own since it contains many quotes from the book. Otherwise i find it a little too structured. Having said that it provides ample room for one's writings and at least preserves space to go back to for each reading if one wishes to make further notes as one moves on through the book. A nicely presented book and good value for money.

I like the layout of the book.It was nice that each chapter has questions related to the book. The quotes are handy! Good read for sure!!

I'm giving this 2 stars because I bought 2 books. One was fine. However the other journal had written in with pen and highlighter. By the time I realized it was too late to really do anything.

I have given this book away many times.People will ask,why am I here? I work with people in recovery from drugs and alcohol this book tells them they are valuable,you are not a mistake,gives them hope.

Best way to do Bible studies is to have the Bible with a book & workbook, asking probing, thought provoking questions.

Nice journal, I need to buy another as I write in mine daily...but I like the way the leather has worn, gives it character! Nice Bible verses, small enough to fit into a large handbag.

I have friends that I contract with for this book and we visit every day to discuss lessons.

Can be a bit too upbeat at times, a bit redundant, but overall a very inspirational book. I tell you if you are someone who doesn't think allot and are looking for some insight this book is perfect for you. If you are a deep thinker and get about 3 or 4 hours of sleep because your brain just won't shut off you probably have already mulled this over and over in your mind long before you read the propositions in this book. Either way it's still a fantastic read for entry level thinkers and tortured souls alike :)

Well written

I did this study with my church and it is fun and great. It really helps us find the answers to what our purpose is. I would strongly recommend getting the Journal that goes with it so you can really get the best use of this study. I bought this for a friend and can't wait for him to read it. It's so good that I will am going to read it again and buy a new Journal.

What a wonderful book!

My husband and I are reading the book and writng in our journals as part of preparation to discuss this book and I find it very useful to get my personal thoughts down on paper before we discuss and before we pray about these chapters. The chapters are short but very pointed and it is good to take the material and personalize it before moving on. It helps me be accountable for what I think God wants for my life and the things I need to change to come into God's purposes.

I love this journal. And have ordered several over the years. This recently received journal has a product sticker on the front which is hard to remove...

I am not sorry I bought this. It really doesn't have what i was looking for. I thought it was going to be more of a study tool. Would i recommend it? Probably not. As a Journal it doesn't have a enough writing space, Yet as a quick peek during the day to refresh the days lesson it is Lovely.
