Perfect fit 7 excellent replacement bulb
I have a spuds Mckenzie beer sign that hangs in my basement and is on all the time, well one day it was out. I didn't want to get rid of the light or pay for a new ballast or starter so I purchased this LED light as a replacement and the instructions that came with the bulb were easy to follow and understand . I had the light re-wired and back together in about fifteen minutes and I am not a handy person. The bulb fit perfect and looks great and best of all Spuds is back on duty lighting up his area of the basement. I would definitely purchase again if I had the need.

Very bright, much brighter than original flourescent.
Using Fulight Rotatable LED F14T8 to replace hard to find F14T12 flourescents. I'm using them in my 1950's bathroom vanity cabinet, left and right sides of mirror. They are very bright, almost too bright for in-your-face mirrored vanity cabinet. More than enough light for a small bathroom. At night I turn one off. Like many LED tube lights they project a very directed light, only about 180 degrees around the tube, such that objects cast hard shadows, unlike flourescents which cast their light evenly around the tube creating more indirect light, which fills in the shadows. If the light was constructed to project its light around the tube 270 degrees or more, it may soften the shadows. The rotation feature is interesting, might be more useful in a closet or pantry. Tried both Warm and Cool white, both are equally bright, the warm white does change the appearance of colors and seems less harsh than the cool-white. The Cool-white is better to work by. Have not tried the Daylight type. As is stated, they require rewiring of the fixture. Would be nice if they were dimmable. Maybe Fulight can make a new model.

Works great in the Tecate sign
Seller packed the light extremely well and instructions were very clear. I just bypassed the old ballast and the light fit perfectly. Looks better now than when old CFL tube was in it.

Easy to install for anyone that has done any wiring. No wiring experience? Try something else.
It is very bright. It seemed a little too bright at first, but now that I'm used to it, I like it. Installation/modification of the light fixture was easy and only took a few minutes. I have done previous electrical work however. It may be a bit more challenging for someone with no experience. I found the directions a little confusing because my fixture didn't look like the ones in their example. Even though I cut the wires as close to the ballast as possible, it was too short to reach one side of the fixture. I had add a short length of wire (pigtailed) to the two wires that were too short. It was easy and worked great but if I hadn't done something like that before, I would have ended up with a ruined fixture and unable to use the new bulb.I used it in an older fluorescent aquarium strip light. It may be more straight forward and easier in a newer or different fixture.I don't want to talk anyone out of this bulb. I absolutely love it and am happy not to have to deal with the old ballasts anymore. I highly recommend it it. I just want people to be prepared, in case their fixture's wiring is a little different than those in the instructions.

More Light, Less Noise, Less Heat. Love It
My old desk lamp was getting dim, the ballast produced a loud hum so I decided to try an LED retrofit. The retrofit bulb came a few days ahead of promise date which was nice. The lamp was a little hard to take apart to get at the wiring, but the wiring instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The new bulb is rated nearly twice the brightness of new fluorescence bulb and probably 5X my worn-out one. The ballast is gone along with the hum. It uses half the power and doesn't get as warm. The CRI (Color Rendition Index) of 80 is fair, but a lot better than the 60 of a new fluorescent tube. I am incredibly pleased with the result. A good upgrade to a lamp I didn't want to throw out.On the technical side, I think Type B, Double Ended Power LED tubes (which this is) are the "sweet spot" if replacing one or a few fixtures. Type A is "Plug and Pray," it only works if the old ballast is compatible. Who knows what ballast is lurking in an old lamp or whether you can find it on a compatibility list. Type C requires an LED control module plus the tube and is more expensive and more difficult to wire. Type B has the control electronics in the tube and runs on line voltage (after you rewire, which is mandatory). The Type B double ended power is easier to rewire than single ended power, where you may need to change the "tombstones" (clips that hold the tubes).

NOT dimmable!
Works great but beware, this is NOT dimmable. When doing so it flickers horribly.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE
I used these to rewire/light up a beer sign and was unsure of what to order, I took a shot and made a mistake which they caught, contacted me right away, responded promptly to questions and got me the order ahead of schedule from CA to FL. Great job!

Excellent Replacement For Old Fluorescent Bulbs!
This product was easy to install. I bypassed the ballast and the light worked perfectly! This bulb is very bright compared to the old fluorescent bulb. The seller did an excellent job at packing the bulb. The bulb was wrapped in plenty of bubble wrap and the tips/pins at each end of the bulb had protective caps on them.
