I have a Google Pixel 2 XL and I also drive for a living and was always running my battery out because my vehicle doesn't have Bluetooth radio. It only has auxiliary input and since the Pixel doesn't have 3.5 mm audio out I was always wearing my battery out. With this I am now able to charge and listen to audio at the same time through my radio speakers. It worked the first time I plugged it in. So far no issues. Will update if any issues arise.Update: this USB C to 3.5 finally stopped working altogether. 2 weeks before it went caput it was being finicky where it would randomly work and not work. Then finally it stopped working altogether. Luckily I purchased the insurance and got a replacement.

I ordered a second one because the first one I ordered last about 8-9 months before it was borderline unusable for music as it would disconnect every few seconds due to being so loose. For reference, I would use this near daily. On the weekends and the 2 days a week I work at home it would probably get used about 30 minutes a day. When I had to go in to work, 3 days a week, it would get 3-4 hours of use a day. So although it didn't last a year, it got fairly extensive use.It's a bit odd when using both the charger and headphone slots at once. If I wanted to do that I needed to plug the headphone/aux cable in first and get the music going first and THEN plug in the charger. Otherwise it would charge but the sound would come out of the phone speakers. It will work, but in my case it needed to be used in a particular way to actually work. So if you're in a car without Bluetooth, you definitely want to get that set up before you start driving so you're not messing around with wires while on the road.I didn't really notice much of a difference in sound quality with this compared to a previous phone where I could plug directly into my car aux port. The charging was probably slightly slower than going directly through the charger but not super noticeable, you'll still charge at a reasonable rate.

I was looking for an adapter like this one for USB C to USB C and 3.5mm headphone that would work for my Razer Phone. I read some answered questions on several products and did research online which lead me to this dongle. I tried it right after I received it, and it did NOT work as I wanted it to. DO NOT BUY if you want to use it with a Razer Phone and possibly Razer Phone 2

I really like this product it works great with my phone. It has been difficult for me to find what I was looking for to use old headphones with my new phone. This product was just what I needed.

I used this in my car to enable me to charge my Pixel2 while connection my phone to the aux in. This worked beautifully until the audio started breaking up and then failed completely. I get a buzz or noise when I insert the jack in this unit and then nothing. Frustrating as I have become a podcast addict.

It’s decent. Doesn’t allow me to charge and listen to music through headphones that are cabled on my iPad Pro 11”. Could have just gone for a simple subconscious to 3.5mm jack dongle instead of this 2in1. Would have been smaller too.

I was happily surprised that my Pixel 2 phone was able to plug into this device as well as into my car is axillary Jack and USB to be able to charge while listening to an audiobook while driving. That has been one of the most frustrating parts of owning this phone. Not being able to do both at once. I am ordering another immediately as I want the same ability without having to move it to another location. Excellent product. Also, it does show that the phone is charging and it's fast charging mode in my car with this device.

This product advertises that you can make calls while it is in use. WRONG! If all you want to do is listen to music and charge, it's fine. Even while doing that, you can't unplug the power or the music stops. Also, on the box it shows a music control function. It's nowhere to be be found on the actual product. I've never quite experienced false product advertising like this! I'm sending it straight back.
