StilGut Book Type Flip Case for Galaxy Note 9, Genuine Leather Galaxy Note 9 Case, Cognac Brown

The case is well balanced in design and constructability... I thought of the very expensive "montblanc" I really liked the very slim but rigid panels....the leather feels and look authentic because it is vs other leather cases with bulky feel & look..... the front panel is flat and rigid for screen protection...the rear casing is also rigid and it wraps around the phone edges for protection and it contains well thought edges to protect the corners.... I accidently dropped the phone (it does not remain closed because is a book type front panel cover) but the corners maintained the phone from touching the sidewalk. Lastly the front panel and the body casing is attached or United by a soft flex leather.... low profile in the 40.00 us.... I think is worth the money vs the 145.00 us montblanc. Note: no credit card slot for this item. Enjoy I'm out.

I was a bit disappointed with this case, please note that I have the black nappa leather version which is less plush than the other versions. I just ordered the brown cognac too, which was slightly damaged on arrival, but the leather depresses down and has a significantly better feel. For this amount of money, go with the non nappa versions. You'll notice many of the reviews here, which are five stars, are for different variations of the case.I recommend getting the version with the latch too, the cover is quite flimsy.

I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (great cell phone, by the way) and I couldn't find a case which had a magnetic closure, apparently due to the S-pen (magnets in the case cause problems for it). This case, which is beautiful, has a small latch on the cover which snaps around the slightly exposed edge of the phone. Brilliant!!!

I previously had the same case except it has a tab that grips my phone to hold it closed. This has nothing so it is always part open. Dont like this one at all. I'm going to have to buy another to replace it..

very nice case which also slim, looks very business appropriate. I have tried few cases a carbon fiber one which looked good and light but was a dust magnet. Also tried LED view case. as nice and techy as it was, it was bulky. so went with tried and tested leather case. no complaints.

Quality not great..very thin,leather grade was poor..

The front cover is stitched on many cases the front cover is a laminate of leather on top and bonded at the edge. The Bonded edge usually deteriorate over time make the case unsightly because the Stilgut case is stitched this won't happen. The stitching is nice. The front closes with a clip and is not magnetic which means it won't interfered with phone. The clip is necessary as just a flap cover won't offer any protection as it will most likely open if dropped.Phone fits well and there is space for glass screen protect Note fits well.When the case is closed you can adjust volume through the leather.All four edges of the case have round corners which make the case looker nicer .I really like this case 4.5 out of five. Would absolutely buy again.

Leider ist der viel zu dünne "Buchrücken" der Lederhülle unten und oben je über einen cm kürzer, so dass das schwere Samsung Galaxy Note 9 ein Stück nach unten zieht, wenn man die Hülle nach hinten umklappt.Das wurde vielleicht so gemacht, damit der Deckel leichter auf- und zuklappt, ist aber im Gebrauch echt nervig, weil das Smartphone so keinen Halt hat und einseitig rechts nach unten zieht.An sich ist die Lederhülle für das Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in Ordnung und von guter Qualität - von daher noch 3 Sterne. Ich habe sie behalten, weil ich schnell eine Hülle gebraucht habe, kann sie aber aufgrund der für mich fehlerhaften Konstruktion nicht zum Kauf für Nutzer empfehlen, die den Hüllendeckel zur Nutzung seitlich nach hinten umklappen.Ich hoffe, dass Stilgut den Hüllenrücken wieder verlängert, so dass eine einwandfreie Nutzung möglich ist. Bitte neue Hülle konstruieren, danke!Mir ist das Smartphone jetzt das erste Mal heruntergefallen. Ich hatte es in der geschlossenen Hülle in der Hand. Auf dem Boden lag es dann mit offenem Deckel, die Displayseite auf dem Boden. Zum Glück ist nichts passiert. aber bei meinem alten Samsung Galaxy S 5 mit original Samsung Buch-Hülle (auch ohne Verschluss) blieb der Deckel bei Stürzen meistens geschlossen und bei ca. 50 Stürzen ist nie erwas passiert. So sollte es auch sein, dafür kaufe ich doch so eine Hülle im Book-Style! Von daher leider noch mal einen Stern Abzug.

Die Hülle ist ok, aber nicht perfekt, denn:- Sie lässt sich nur schwer öffnen, die Lasche verschließt zu fest- Das Leder könnte an der rechten Seite weiter ausgeschnitten sein, damit man besser an die Taste zum Ein- und Ausschalten kommt- die Hülle wirkt etwas klobig, ich hätte mir etwas dünneres Leder gewünschtDennoch ist es eine gute Lederhülle:- Die Hülle ist sehr hochwertig und gut verarbeitet - das fühlt und sieht man! Sicherlich hält sie ewig- Sie schützt mein Note 9 wirklich gut und es hat damit bereits einen Sturz auf den Steinboden unbeschadet überlebtMeinen Geschmack trifft sie nicht ganz. Dennoch ist es ein gutes Produkt und ich werde sie erst einmal weiternutzen, bis der Anbieter von meiner Lieblingshülle vom S7 auch eine für das Note 9 anbietet.
