Ceiling Fan with Lights 34 Inch Black Rustic Ceiling Fan with Remote 3 Retractable Blades, 4 Lights Not Included

I am restoring a 120 year-old farmhouse and I wanted some fans in the bedrooms, but wanted to keep the farmhouse look. These were more complicated to install than a standard fan, because the remote sensor is external and so the wiring is different. Also, the Edison lamps that were recommended to purchase with the fan are too big at 5.5 inches, so I had to return them and get some smaller ones. That's the negative. But once installed, the lights are bright, the fan is incredibly quiet, and for the small blades (I got the 34-inch version of this fan), they move quite a bit of air. I just wanted to circulate some air, not create a hurricane in the room, and for that, these more than fit the bill. If you want something that really moves a lot of air, get a 60-inch fan. These look great, don't make any noise at all (can't stress how quiet these fans are, and move enough air to make the room comfortable, even at the lowest setting. Well worth what I paid and I'm very satisfied. I would recommend these to a friend.

Fan is very compact but distributes air very well. It's a show-stopper. Remote was another story and functioned intermittently. Overall the product is great and the customer service is very responsive.

The light will only shut off when power is off. The remote will not control it, so the fan can only be used with the light on. We suspect there is something wrong with the transmitter or receiver, but so far have not been able to contact the seller with our concern. Hoping this review will reach someone or we will have no choice but to return the product. We are sad because it looks great, and fan works great, but we can't sleep with the lights on! Seller please contact us!

I had no problem installing this fan. Just take your time. If you are installing a new electric box, installing a deep box makes the wiring much easier - particularly placement of the remote receiver. It is a very good fan for the price. However the seller Hall of Lamps (Parrot Uncle) is "another story."The seller Hall of Lamps (Parrot Uncle) advertises “customer support.” Based on my experience, it appears that they are advertising the lack of costumer support. I purchased a fan from this seller through Amazon. After installing the fan (without a problem), I had a question about the product. I called the seller’s “toll free” number but no one answered. I emailed the seller, but have not received an answer. I wonder how they would respond – or not respond - if I had a problem with the product. My advice – go elsewhere.

Not what I expected

This is a great light/ceiling fan, especially for the price. Install was a pain but no more so than any other fan installation. Great for smaller rooms as the blades aren't big enough to provide adequate circulation for a large space. It was perfect for my 10X12 kitchen. Make sure the Edison bulbs you get are LED kind as the incandescent ones create a dry sauna like experience...don't ask me how I know. The remote control has separate light and fan controls. I would have liked to see a dimmer feature with the light control, my only complaint, but overall; 5 stars for me.

All I could say after my husband got it installed was....'I love it....I love it....I love it'. Definitely the WOW factor for the room!We were looking for a fan and light combo that was fairly small that would fit in the space in our newly renovated bathroom. It turned out to be awesome! We both loved the way it looked and the way it worked. Of course, we added the Edison bulbs that really completed the look! We could not be more pleased with this product!!!

Package arrived intact with no damage thanks to tight packing. Instructions a bit cryptic and a first time fan installer may be challenged. I had to use the short rod on this install because of a low ceiling. Unit comes with everything for a few options of mounting substrata. I recommend definitely using the remote control since this allows for fan speed, timer, and lighting adjustments. Without the remote control there’s no fan speed choice. All wires were clearly labeled and general installation went smoothly. It’s a very different fan, of course, with a small footprint for a small area. But this little fan is virtually noiseless and really puts out the airflow. Fan blades fold in/out with centrifugal force. The lightning feature was the easiest I’ve ever installed and allows for 4 bulbs.Nice little fan.
