I think this kit provides kids an excellent foundation in coding and robotics. It's very easy to get started, as the programming is all done visually in the app. There were sample projects in the app to get started with. Robo Wunderkind's youtube channel has lots of videos which makes it easy for the kids to learn. This was a really great Christmas gift for my cousins. So much fun for the kids and parents too! They especially liked that they could use it seamlessly with their Legos.

We have been eyeing Robo Wunderkind since the beginning of this year and decided to order our son a kit as soon as the brand became available on Amazon. The apps are easy to follow, the blocks are quite sturdy and our kid absolutely enjoys building and rebuilding them into what he calls “his little robots”. The whole family has been enjoying the play time with Robo - it’s both fun and educational, and the coding part is easy to grasp for both kids and parents.

I got Robo Wunderkind for my son as it seemed easier to use than its alternatives. He loved the big bright blocks as well as all the funny noises and lights. And it was simple enough to quickly figure out how to use it. Overall its a very cool toy and I am happy I bought it. Might get more modules come Christmas

This was really a great gift for young toddlers to safely learn about robots/mechanics. Easy to put together and modify. Understanding and configuring the controls on a smart phone seemed a bit wonky and not intuitive, but this seems more a interface/software issue that could be fixed in new versions.

The app is kid-friendly, and my sons able to use it on his own. The blocks are sturdy enough for our younger 4yo to also play. Both of my sons and husband are enjoying playing with this kit together as well. I love that it’s educational!

I love the abilities of this little robot, but would have liked a booklet to show beginners what to do. We are still finding it difficult to successfully use “robocode” to get it moving. This makes it less inviting to younger explorers.

My Robo just arrived yesterday and it is more complex than it seems at first glance. When we opened up the box and started putting the cubes together with my nephew and my niece, all I could think is why weren’t toys like this around when I was young?! If a robot can keep these two busy for more than an hour and hopefully contribute to their education, just go ahead and take my money! Also great that it’s compatible with Lego since they already had so much of that and can use them together.

When a friend of mine mentioned that he and his wife bought an educational robot for their 7yo son, I was a little sceptical. I have never thought of robots being useful for child learning and development until I did my research and found out how robots are being widely used in STEM education these days. I realized that my 5yo daughter is missing out so much by not having any educational smart toys, so my husband and I decided to give it a try. After researching a lot of robots that are currently on the market, we decided to choose Robo Wunderkind because of its versatility and because it seemed like it was very easy to get started with the toy.Unboxing:First of all, the packaging looks really neat, and the box is perfect for storing the building blocks and organizing them. The unboxing process was a lot of fun for my daughter: she was tinkering with the blocks and discovering their functions one by one with the help of the small book that we found in the box. There is also a set of very cute stickers inside. It wasn’t long until my daughter built her first robot: it took her literally minutes to combine blocks and to build a small cute robot!Apps:Coding was also very easy to get started with: we downloaded the Robo Code app, connected the robot to it and started programming. The app offers a set of tutorials that help to understand the coding logic - this was very helpful for my girl and us. The app is very visual and is almost completely based on icons, which is great for smaller children (although my daughter knows how to read). There is also one more app called Robo Live which lets you remote control the robots, it follows a similar visual interface and is even more simple to use. Although the apps are simple, they are still a good challenge for my daughter and I could see straight from the beginning how she was thinking on the tasks she needs to do in the apps, troubleshooting her mistakes and being persistent with creating new constructions and coding them.Material and quality:The blocks have a very nice soft finish and are very stable. My daughter dropped her robots on the floor several times, and to my surprise, nothing was broken. Everything is very robust, including the smallest parts like connectors and Lego adapters.All in all:Absolutely great first introduction to coding and technology! I feel like this toy will keep my daughter's interest for a long time. The quality of the toy is impressive and the Lego compatibility is something that makes this robot even more amazing. I love to see how engaged my daughter is and how easy she is learning through play. Totally recommended!

I bought Robo Wunderkind for my 8-year-old daughter as a birthday present, she’s been playing with it almost every day since unboxing it. We have several coding robots at home: Ozobot, Dash, Bee-bot, plus some other STEM and coding toys, and I must say that so far Robo Wunderkind has exceeded our expectations and easily topped all other toys my daughter plays with.This is a brilliant robotics kit: simple and absolutely intuitive for a child to understand, yet it is challenging enough and provides tons of building and coding possibilities. I, personally, was very impressed with the programming interface of the supporting Robo Code app: it’s fully visual, interactive and very appealing to kids design-wise. The building blocks turned out to be sturdy and robust. What my daughter loves the most is the possibility of building and rebuilding multiple times, she is very excited to come up with new robots every time. Lego compatibility is another feature that she just loves, as she is a huge Lego fan! You can easily attach Lego pieces to the special adaptors provided in the kit, and customize the builds.I can only recommend this kit, it’s an excellent first introduction to coding and robotics, it brings so much fun while playing, my child is amused. I hope there will be a possibility to buy separate blocks or ready upgrade packs in the future.

This product arrived before it was due. We had to download 2 apps that were easy to find in the app store and quick to download. The robot is very easy to put together. I have 2 children aged 9 and 6 who both enjoy playing with him. We are only just starting out with him so I am sure there is a lot more we can learn to do with him. It is both educational and fun. Great product :)

The set arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. My 8-year-old twins are delighted with it and quickly got the hang of the basics. Short break abroad interrupted the process but they are itching to get back to it this week. My impression is that this is something with great long-term potential that they will be able to build on and expand as their coding capabilities grow. Definitely a good buy that will keep on giving for a long time yet.

Mein Neffe liebt es!Mein Neffe hat seinen Robo zum 9.Geburtstag bekommen, er liebt ihn und hat sehr viel Spaß beim spielen. Das Spielzeug ist sehr vielseitig und es können so viele verschiedene Varianten gebaut werden. Die Roboter sind auch sehr einladend für Kinder und das Design ist toll. Die Apps sind übersichtlich designed und sehr intuitiv, alles ist selbsterklärend. Sie sind so gestaltet, dass es für Kinder einfach ist anzufangen (mein Neffe hat seinen ersten Roboter innerhalb einer Stunde gebaut und programmiert, ich war sehr beeindruckt).Was mir auch gleich aufgefallen ist: er beschäftigt sich sehr interessiert damit für eine lange Zeit - das ist wichtig, da das Spielzeug nicht billig ist. Super Produkt, es ist jeden Cent wert, empfehlenswert!
