I have bought two end tables, a sofa table, and a tall book case from International Concepts. While I am a bigger fan of oak furniture, rubber wood is very hard too. I don't especially like the grain when this wood is stained dark, but it is very attractive when coated with a light/natural stain and poly, or with several coats of tung oil.

I was immediately impressed when I opened the box: everything was well packed to avoid shipping damage, very little assembly needed, easy to put together, and it arrived fully sanded and ready to stain. I'm modifying the table for a project I'm working on and I would buy this again as an excellent base to work from or simply as a good, sturdy table.

I purchased this item as a stand for a my printer. Please note the dimensions of this item because it's smaller than an end table and shorter than a typical accent table -- but that's what I needed because I was fitting it in under a kitchen bar. The table was fairly easy to assemble if you've ever assembled wood furniture. I stained and painted mine and it came out good. I couldn't find anything close to the price for a solid wood table. All of the furniture stores wanted hundreds of dollars for one and the big box stores only had cheap luminant tables. I would recommend this item.

I bought two of these thinking that would suffice as end-tables and I could finish them myself. They are actually made of hardwood, and comes together solidly. I added a dark walnut stain and they look very good. My only complaint is that the holes for the bottom shelf bracket screws were not well drilled in one table, and weren't there at all in the other. This was quickly fixed with my drill and the proper sized drill bit. For such low cost, I expect issues, but the materials are excellent. I was able to buy them for $40 each, and turn them into $200+ tables for just a few bucks of walnut stain and satin poly, and a couple hours of my time added. That's a win in my book!

At 71, I assembled it by myself (not difficult at all) and then sponge-painted it. I wanted it to sit some of my Knick knacks on in my new office. It’s a sturdy piece of furniture.

I purchased this for my TV in my bedroom, as I was sick of it sitting on top of my dresser. When I took it out of the box, I thought WOW, this is really nice! But, then when I went to assemble it, the holes were not predrilled for the bottom shelf. I was upset, because I had to call a neighbor to come over to help me.Overall, this is a nice sturdy table, and perfect for what I wanted. I really do like the fact that I can simply stain it to the shade that I want. I think, that anyone who would purchase this item, would be very happy.Thank you

Nice little table for the price, perfect for a guest room nightstand. Easy to put together. My shelf is cracked but not bad enough to send back. Primed, sanded, and then painted the table -- came out pretty good. Probably could have used one more sanding and a final coat for a smoother finish. As others mentioned, there are no pre-drilled holes in the shelf, only in the legs. We attached the brackets to the legs and didn't bother drilling into the shelf as it fits snug and sits squarely on the brackets. Plenty sturdy. May have a piece of glass cut for the top so coasters won't be needed and the surface stays scratch-free. Overall, pleased with this piece.
