Heavy Duty Coax RF Ratchet Crimping Tool Crimper for LMR-600

Great crimper for LMR600 cable. It works well both on the centre pin and the ferrule of Amphenol crimp connectors. It comes in a nice box with written directions.The only additional comment I can make is that it does require quite a bit of force to crimp the large ferrule. This is not a negative comment on the crimper; in fact the tool is well-built and is able to impart the force required without a problem.Although I have good grip strength it is easier on the hands to place one handle of the crimper on the workbench and then "lean into" the tool to get the ferrule crimped. This is likely due to the heaviness of the ferrule rather than an issue with the crimper itself.I would buy this tool again, it is very high quality.

The tool has a good fit and finish quality and I expect it will perform very well. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it looks very capable to do what it is supposed to do.

Definitely works. I would say that there should be some more leverage built into the design, however. I have strong hands and it’s not an especially easy thing to complete a crimp on big LMR600 single handed.
