Should have gotten a GoPro
This is alright. Mostly I feel like I should have went with the GoPro. I've actually termed this one the "NoPro". It works, but its not super clear, and there are no instructions anywhere...even on the internet...that explain how to use the remote THAT COMES WITH IT. It's nearly impossible to figure out how to sync the camera with the remote. I feel like everything I've figured out was from pure luck, and I don't think I could explain it, or do it again. When I'm out paddling, I have to take it out of the waterproof case in order to turn the thing on (so that I don't run down the battery, which happens very quickly) so that I can get video/pictures. It's a pain, because a lot of times I miss catching cool things on film...like dolphins, sharks, etc., because it's too late by the time I've gotten in turned on. It does take decent pictures. Maybe more time will tell.

I gave this to my husband for Christmas. Purchased as an alternative to a more expensive action camera. It was a great price and came with the accessories -- only needed to purchase the memory card. Everything was as advertised and it is easy to use. Bottom line, it is a good camera for a great price.

Cheap! But doesn't work awesome, battery wouldn't charge.
Wanted to try out an inexpensive action type camera to record fishing adventures with, thought I was getting a deal, turned out to be a flop. We played with it a little at home to test the video quality -- not awesome, not awful, but when we tried to take it out on an actual adventure the battery wouldn't hold a charge. So we never got to test its full potential.

Lots of bang for the buck!
This is a good camera - everything works as advertised and it is easy to use and is really great "bang for the buck"value Delivers 1080p video and good sound quality and is definitely a lot less expensive than a GoPro. All in all, thisis a good device for a great price
