I feel so accomplished! I Just replaced 2 pair of shoe heels and although I had to tug and twist and put a ton of elbow grease in to it, I successfully switched them out. Initially I didn’t realize they have 2 separate size pins (which is why I love this product even more now!), but I figured it out—Both 3mm and 2.5mm. I think the 3 is more common, at least w the brands I buy🤷🏻‍♀️ Not only does it save $$ on a shoe smith, it was so much more convenient. I beat my heals up and when I started sounding like a Clydesdale walking down the hall I knew it was time to either dish out $30 to get them redone or buy a new pair. 10/10 would recommend this set of heel tips.

I love that I can change the bottoms of my heels on my shoes. The product's durability helps a lot, and the heel sizes work well, too.

Once I figured out exactly the size hilltop I needed to use, I was actually impressed. It is somewhat difficult to remove the old hill tip to insert the new tip is fairly easy.

Broke one and couldn’t find new shoes so I bought this. Let me tell you that the polars are awful. They kept breaking the old heel and metal so the old price basically had to be dug out. Which is why in the photos it is not smooth. The small one was way to loose and the big one we fought to get in. And after having to dig out the old one with polars provided the hole was a mess. Replaced both so they would be even. I recommend if you are don’t care about how they look after but if you need to make them look perfect good luck. May as well buy different shoes. It gets three stars because it’s useable but I don’t really care for this product.

The heel kit is good. the pliers was crap but I did not buy it for the pliers. I needed up using my own pliers along with many other tools to get the old heel cap out. it was tough but was accomplished. I just hope the wife does not wait until they are completely gone to have them fixed next time.

I had a heel tip break while at work. Sounded like I was tap dancing everywhere. These were my favorite shoes and still pretty new so I didn't want to throw them out. At first I was going to get it repaired but after seeing a few videos on how to fix it, I figured I'd do it myself. I ordered this kit and attempted to do the repair. It was really easy to get the tip out, but tricky part was finding the correct size. After 2 attempts of comparing the sizes I found one. I putntip in and used a hammer to get it the rest of the way in. Tip fit perfectly and I no longer sound like I'm tap dancing. I'd recommend these if you want to hang on to your favorite shoes a little longer.
