HATTEKER Electric Shaver Foil Shaver Electric Razor for Men Wet Dry with Pop Up Precision Trimmer Rechargeable and Cordless

Due to circumstances I have now been without running hot water (excepting one electric shower) for a month. Therefore I have been wet shaving in cold water! I decided to try electric shavers as a temporary solution after 60 years of wet shaving.I bought a selection of the cheapest electric shavers, 2 foil type and 1 rotorary from the plethora of choice on Amazon with which to experiment. Knowing I was to return to wet shaving I did not consider the big brands, some of which were in excess of £200! I found the foil types I think more effective.This Hatteker was around £20 and exceptional value for money. Very stylish and like so many products today displaying the best of micro engineering in the build quality. I have only used it 3 times and the battery still shows 100 %! Whilst electric shavers will never beat a wet shave this amazing, convenient machine reaches I would say a 98% comparison. In other words, within a whisker!!

Been wanting this for ages. I got to the barbers and see them use this style of shaver on the neck, which gives me a very clean neck shave. This particular area is very hard to clean for most men, blade shavers causes a cuts or bruises. There are a few named brand ones but their price is not what I was prepared to pay since it was the first time I was gonna buy one.So got this blue electric shaver by HATTEKER, the style and design looks almost like some of those branded ones. First of all, the product packaging is immaculate, i am a big fan on the “unboxing” experience, esp when it comes to electronics and gadget.Inside the package there is the shaver, replacement head, charging plug (3pin plug and usb charging as well) and a travel pouch.The shaver comes pre charged so it was good to go from the time of unboxing.The cordless feature makes it very convenient as you don’t have to be stuck near a power point. LED display shows the charge percentage and comes handy.I was already scruffy so rushed to ty it out for the first time. Straight out of the box, the shaver works fantastic. Took far less time to get a butter smooth shave under the neck. There was no pain/cuts/buirses compared to razor blades. This shaver is so worth the price for me. By not going to the barber twice a month, I can recover its cost.Just to test it, I used it to remove chest and body hair. Works great on the body as well. Highly recommend to those for whom shaving is a hassle and looking to get a quick clean shave while in a rush.

I didn't expect much at the price, and got more than I expected.On first use this shaver took my four day stubble down to smooth cheeks with less pulling than most shavers I have used. Since then it has been great. The shave is as good as any other foil razor. My partner says that she approves of the shave, so I am sticking with this one. I seem to only charge it once a fortnight, using my phone charger. There is a light to tell you when to do that. Also one to tell you when to clean it.All the lights come on when you switch it on, then go out and only come back when needed. Just like the dashboard on my car.Tip for blade users trying for the first time: Don't press hard and expect to take all the hair off on the first pass - put it gently against your cheek and move it back and forth until smooth. Much better for your skin. This also makes the foil last much longer. The great thing about a battery shaver is that when you get called to a meeting at the end of the day, or you go out straight from work, you pop into the rest room and in two minutes you can wash your face and have a quick shave, and be confident that you are the freshest looking man in the room.I have had this for 4 or 5 months now, that is longer than the recommended time for changing foils on big brand shavers, and the shave is as good as the first time. Maybe better, now that I have got used to the feel of the shaver. With my last shaver the whole head had to be replaced when the foil wore through, and they make you pay through the nose for the privilege. I don't think this company plan on doing that - the head is attached by a hinge.The instructions were written either by someone whose first language isn't english, or who isn't trained in how to write manuals (it is a skill). If you take that into account, and try and figure out what they are trying to say, it is understandable.Remember, as with all rechargeable products, when you first get it charge the battery for a few hours before first use. Then only charge it when the battery gets low, and always charge until full. The battery will give longer lasting charges and go for more years before it stops charging if you do this.Oh, I tried the foil on my arm hair, like I saw someone else do in the reviews. It didn't take of any hair at all - thank god. I would have looked like a right idiot. But I tried the trimmer on the hair at the back of my neck, and on my chest, and it works just fine.

This shaver seems like a good deal and for someone else it might be. I have fairly sensitive skin which doesn't go well with this Hatteker. I received one cut underneath my lip, and my neck, although showed no signs of cuts, felt like it was ripped when washed afterwards. The packaging was nice,the shaver feels sturdy enough, and it arrived the next day (without additional cost); this is all irrelevant though, as this razor is unusable for me.

This is simply the best electric shaver I have owned ... and it cost far less than I have paid for all the others.I was tempted to buy this shaver, because the cost of frequently replacing the foils on my Braun shaver was getting silly. I am so glad I made the switch.This shaves closer than my previous shaver. It is more comfortable than my previous shaver. The foil is more durable than my previous shaver. It is considerably cheaper than my previous shaver.This is an excellent product. It is shaped to fit well in the hand. It is waterproof and suitable for wet & dry shaving. It has impressive battery life and it has a digital display that accurately informs you how much battery life you have remaining.
