Deep Trance Identification: Unconscious Modeling and Mastery for Hypnosis Practitioners, Coaches, and Everyday People

I have read probably a dozen NLP books over the years and they have all helped me in varying degrees become a better and more effective person.Two somewhat similar NLP books which address the topic of transforming yourself are Joseph Riggios The State Of Perfection and the Steve Andreas book Transforming Yourself. I particularly resonated more with Joseph Riggios approach which oversimplified is to put yourself in a state of your best self at all times. He calls it the ready state.Deep Trance Identification was superior to other books and methods for me because, in this method, your goal is to model someone outstanding who has demonstrated the attributes you desire.The approach worked extremely well for me within a day and by using less than 10% of the wide range of approaches that the authors describe. This is not an unusual occurrence based on case studies within this book.Looking back on why this approach was superior seems to me because it is better to model yourself on a highest version of success than to aim to make yourself a better version of yourself. In other words its better to aim to go from frog to prince than aiming to become the best frog you can be.The book is easy and enjoyable to read with enough scientific and anecdotal background of DTI to satisfy your curiosity.

I found this book to be an extremely interesting proposition. The authors have obviously spent a great deal of time in this area, as have some of the people they interact with. It will be re-read by me more than once, as I believe some of the concepts explained in the book ( parts of which I had to read twice ) only become clear on second and subsequent readings.I contacted them once regarding this book but only to correct them over an historical issue between Nicola Tesla and Thomas Edison. I guess that's a mistake that anyone without historic knowledge of the electrical industry could make, though.

I am not entirely new to the process of DTI. the authors have written a very thorough, easy to understand book. they add some elements to the process(Event Matrix and Counter Model)that were new to me and that I dont find necessary for DTI(they are options the reader can do or not)yet overall if you are totally new to this, its a very good resource. if you are experienced with using certain hypnotic inductions on yourself already, you may be able to skip some chapters.

Can you remember a time, when you wanted to be someone else,a great singer,inventor or better still to be a good manager like your mentor. Well Jess Marion and Shawn Carson have done it again..they have written an amazing book..That will show you..How to experience DTI ( Deep Trance Identification). Learn the skills and imagined how you can be like that person. Learn that it is not just make believe, that there is researched and applical Neuroscience for DTI. Read and embrace the new frontier of the unconscious..If you are a coach,Hypnotist or/and change worker , than this is the book for you. I highly reccommend this amazing book for the knowledge and sheer enjoyment

This book (Kindle edition) is loaded with interesting information. Four stars because the table of contents is grayed out on the "Go To" menu but can be accessed by paging back from the "Beginning".

As an experienced NLP'er, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Well thought out and well written, it takes you on a multifaceted tour of one potent method of personal development.

Returned. This book was written for professionals.

Definitely not what I expected - a long winded and boring read. A search on the internet will reveal DTI as the latest self-help BS being touted by the internet marketing fraternity.

5* for this wonderfully written book.I have waited years to read something innovative in the field of NLP and hypnotic application.This book is it...the one I have been waiting for.

Superb book on DTI / Modelling. A lot to take on, but persevere and it can change your life and the lives of your clients too.

I have been self studying hypnosis and NLP for a while came across this subject hence bought this book. I have to say this book is specific and detailed. I was making a lot of notes during my read of this. I would highly suggest if you are buying go ahead and buy this one and get ready to write a huge essay on the topic.
