Not the best for a beginner like me
The pictures are great. The instructions (what there are of them) are good. Some instruction detail is missing. For example, which way do I work after joining my first round? Do I turn it, work right to left, work left to right??? How do I work with two working loops? No instruction on that other than a passing mention. And there is NO SWEATER PATTERN in the book. I bought it for that reason. You get a hat, mittens/wrist warmers, and socks.

Few pages, good pictures, way overpriced.
Not the clearest instructions out there, but the pictures are good. I should have paid more attention to the page count, however. Deducting a star for being overpriced. Does not give you detailed instructions on how to make many projects (obviously). It does give you the idea on how to make things like hats, wrist warmers, socks, etc. If you're just starting, I suppose if you've had trouble with other online instructions, this is a good starting point. If you are already experienced with it, skip this one.

A textile technique worth rediscovering.
A great explanation of a technique that's on the verge of going extinct in the textile arts. The booklet is written in English and Norwegian with large, clear pictures giving step by step instructions on how to start and finish a row, how to build on the rows, and how to shape an item. Patterns are included for a hat, hand/wrist warmers, and socks. There is also a brief instruction on adding yarn to the end to continue nalbindning. If you are looking for another technique in making textile, this is a good book to add to your collection of books.

Slightly confusing at first
For some reason, I found the book a little confusing at first, because the photos aren't numbered. That could simply have been "operator error" at the time. But once I got a clue, so to speak, I was fine. I did get another book on this topic to go as a companion-"Nalbinding: What on earth is that?" I like having both, because sometimes, one book helps clarify the other. (Though that book is more than just instructions, it has history, etc.) Photography is good & clear.

Clear and Simple
I'm very new to any type of knitting so it took me a little bit to read and understand the instructions. After only a few hours practice though I was able to understand the directions and become somewhat successful. There are a few parts I would have loved to have a few extra pictures for clarity but otherwise a great book for beginners. Writing clear and understandable directions for any task is one of the hardest things any writer can do and I would say this book is very successful at doing so.

Not the better edition
Had this booklet several years back, lent out and never returned. Trying to replace the booklet and this 4th edition has removed all the things that were in a previous version. 4th edition does not have sweater intrusions or much else, very disappointing except a couple of stitch intructions.

Well done, but not for intermediate or advanced.
Meh. I was really expecting more with all the reviews. Thin book with large pics. If you already understand nålbinding, then you're pretty much beyond this book. Maybe you (or I) can use it as a teaching aid?

Grossly overpriced. Photographs taken from the wrong position - explanation refers to something happening at the back of the thumb and the photo shows only the front view. There is no clue as to whether to follow instructions from left to right or top to bottom. ‘The Easiest and Clearest Guide’ it is not!

Good
The book is great the delivery and service is great. Only downside, slightly worn/ torn on arrival. Unsure if fingers or during delivery. Dispute this though, everything else was fine. Can imagine it being worn over time so not too much of an issue
