Garage Door Screw Drive Carriage Replacement for Genie 39179R-S, 36179R.S Opener

My old garage door opener was making so much noise the neighbors know when we left and arrived back home. From what I read about this problem the carriage was the likely cause so took a chance on it. I also ordered the recommended grease. It works like a champ and is as quiet as when it was new.

This was the second door opener we had purchased in just 4 months time. The first one we bought didn't last long the part broke and so this second door opener was purchased. Sure hope it lasts much longer that the one prior to this one.

This product was well worth the money has saved me from replacing the garage door very affordable and easy to install, it's easy to install depending on your skill set. If you have no mechanical skills maybe get some help

This carriage is about the only thing on Genie Garage Door openers that fails. They usually last about 2-3 years. I always keep a spare handy..Very easy to install.

They work well I am having had a problem with them unfortunately my garage door opener in the new one uses a different slide

Worked perfectly on my 40 year old Genie garage door opener, even though manufacturer said parts are no longer available for these old openers because they don’t have the newer safety features. Mine works like new again.
