The shell was very nice but a little expensive. I found them in the pet store much much cheaper. But I throught he needed it right away , he is still in his old shell.

Not what was pictured!
I ordered this for my largest hermit crab because he likes the more turbo-y shells that have round, circular openings. It was more expensive than other shells I've bought, but it looked just right. The pictured large shell was perfect, and the size of an opening about 1inch or so was good. But I received a completely different shell that had an oblong opening and it had two holes in it, which is unacceptable for a hermit crab. Amazon was awesome and refunded it without me even sending it back, but definitely don't order this for your hermit crab if you want the one pictured.

What Hermit Crab would be comfortable in it?
The shell is nice and all, however it isn't ideal for a hermit crab. The opening was very narrow and the shell was too wrapped into itself for a hermit crab to fit inside. It was a waste of money.

Shell came out of the packaging
When I opened the box the package was empty. I found the shell outside of the package just sitting in the box. It’s also a lot smaller than expected.

Ally likes it!
After receiving the large and medium shells, I thought the openings were a bit too small. However, my largest hermit crab took hold of the large shell. If she likes it, I'm satisfied with this product.

NOT LARGE AT ALL
This shell is in no way a large shell. Same size as a quarter. Can’t even fit a finger tip into the opening, how is a “large” crab supposed to fit?!

Way to small more of a extra small hermit not a grown one. Super sad it was to small for them

Glazed Shell
The shell looks very nice, but it does have a gloss or a glaze on it which is not recommended for use in a Hermit crab habitat which is what I had bought it for. It also came in smaller than I had expected. If you are a hermit crab owner and are looking for a growth shell for your pet, I would say this shell is more like a Medium shell, the lenghth dimensions were correct but there is not a lot of room inside for your crab as it is really not very big around.

Not great size
This is not a large shell. Its a size of a smaller medium. So kind of useless as it doesnt fit the crab.
