Serious penetration
Very impressive! Shot a great 14ptr with this broadhead. Shot was a little forward, but punched thru portion of shoulder blade on both sides. End result was that the biggest buck of my life so far made it less than 80 yards. Very effective and impressive durability, as all blades were undamaged and fully intact after the kill shot.

G5 has always been great
I will edit review after my first deer with these heads with a tracking video. But they look like a strong quality head. I've been using g5 montecs for over 15 years and never had any issues with them. I'm only trying these to see if the blood trail is better with a bigger diameter head. They are very sharp out of the package and the practice head that comes with it shoots well out of my crossbow. And g5 is still fairly priced compared to the other big name heads.

Boom!
Used the deadmeat over the past two archery seasons and these things are forgiving. Given the expanded diameter it gives you a little more flexibility in the accuracy of your shot. I am 4 for 4 in the past 4 years with two of those years using deadmeat. Last two years the whitetail traveled no more than 30-40 yards before taking his last breath. In fact my 10 point made it about 20 yards and that was it. Huge damage and makes a loud smack sound when you hit 'em. Just be careful because they are super sharp when tightening and putting together. Some of the blades were not attached to the main point when arrived, had to manually attach them but wasn't a big deal. Much better than fixed blade in my opinion and you can buy the field tips to match for better tuning and accuracy.

4 shots, 4 kills… but here’s more if you want it!
I have shot four deer with these broadheads and I have killed four deer. All dropped appropriately for their corresponding placement (less than 60 yrs at a dead run). The blades will bend or break if you hit something hard (shoulder blade, rock after pass through). But the replacements are cheap and easy to install. The blades can be tough to get back in when they are new but I just used the tree or a piece of wood to push it in. My biggest complaint is that they get meat and hair stuck in the cracks and it takes some extra cleaning to get them ready to use again. My favorite thing is the BMP. They match the broadheads exactly for shot placement so you don’t have to worry about getting your mechanical broadheads out of an expensive high speed broadhead target, but still be confident that you will hit where you aim.

Best mechanical broadheads on the market
The G5 Deadmeat broadheads are the best mechanical tips I’ve used. No delayed activation and one of the smallest profiles that reduces drag. The included BMP tip allows you to train and tune your arrows to ensure highest accuracy going into the field. The broadheads came extremely sharp and did not require any additional sharpening. These broadheads have not disappointed.

Looks good
Got for my crossbow. I liked what I saw on YouTube about them. Deer season was over by the time I ordered. I will have to try them next year on deer. Looks like it will be good for wild hogs also.
