Amazon reviews always blow my mind on how much of a lack of common sense there is. Yes, it is glass and the description and packaging says it’s suitable for hot tea. ITS GLASS OF COURSE ITS GOING TO BE HOT TO TOUCH. Even the box says to be careful. This glass is more suited for cold brewing and infusing fruit.Now the rant is over, the glass is beautiful. Well actually another thing to rant about...ITS GLASS OF COURSE ITS FRAGILE. Why would you use a glass jar for everyday travel??? This isn’t stainless steel. Seriously, stop leaving such dumb negative reviews because you all lack common sense. Yeesh.The glass has a beautiful iridescent sheen and a veneer bamboo wood lid. I would hand wash this only since some people have reported the veneer bubbling and peeling off. The strainer basket could be a little deeper but it’s not a huge deal. It’s nice that it comes with its own twist top strainer handle. I plan on using this strictly for cold brews, fruit water, or 1-2hr warm brewing. If you want to use this for hot brewing, then buy a silicone handle.

For some reason my wife likes looking at tea. This solved the obscurity plaguing her world and it works too. Everyone wins.

This product is super cute and easy to use. It is very fragile. I’m the kind of person who is gentle with my things and I don’t often break stuff, so I felt like having a glass drinking bottle would not be a problem. After 2 weeks of use, the inside layer of glass separated from the outside making the bottle unusable & cracked. The seller graciously replaced the bottle immediately, no questions asked. The day after I had the replacement bottle, I accidentally knocked it over. It went from standing in the counter to laying on the counter (a very minor fall) and it shattered. Most of my glasses would have survived that.

I may have put WAY too many flowers into the steeper, but I'm not reviewing the tea just the bottle.2/22/22--I love it so far (if something changes I can always come back and update this comment) it's absolutely beautiful, currently I'm at work and I fill the container from the hot water at the water dispenser (ya know the thing that goes glug glug and has a red and blue nozzle with a 5 gal container on top)Anyway I filled it and my first concern was wether it would be too hot to handle but the double wall really helps so no need for a sleeve.Then I let it sit for 2 mins to steep. First mistake I made was putting the steeper in AFTER I put water in it (no it didn't over flow) more like after the 2 min steep all the top water was blue around the steeper.. .oops I really don't make tea often. After doing a very gentle turnover to mix everything it started leaking, well that's cuz I didn't tight the cap all the way BUT there is no reason anyone should need to find herculean strength just to screw the cap on (that's how we break our nice things) just a little extra umpf while screwing it and it won't leak.I like the lid too its smooth and gives me good vibe feels when paired with the iridescent bottle and LET ME TELL YOU! The pics don't do justice! Yes anything iridescent is cool all on its own but my boss just told me it looked like potion was in this bottle lol no need for thay edible shimmer crap, your just going to have to buy it yourself and understand what I mean!

I love this tea mug! I use it all the time. I do wish it was a little bigger, but it's a nice size as it is. I leave my tea in the infuser while I drink the tea, but it can be removed easily. The iridescence is beautiful. The only drawback for me is that I'm a klutz, and glass does not do well when it's dropped on ceramic floor tile. So, I'm sure I'll be buying more in the future.They also make great gifts.

This is such a cute glass bottle for tea. Works just as you need it to and i know a few people who would love this.However if you need this for keeping tea hot or to not be hot to the touch keep looking. The glass is is cute but doesn’t keep it warm for longer than maybe an hour depending how hot you boil your water.Overall I bought this for how it looks and the basic functionality of brewing tea for work. I definitely recommend as long as your standards is it’s mainly for aesthetics rather than functionality other steel tumblers.

I had mine for two months. Loved it. Thinking about how to properly replace it...cause I really did like it...But it broke, falling off my couch onto the floor...full of ice and water...and the glass shards were a lot to clean up, I'm hoping the vacuum got them all.It was really was a nice item. I just wonder how to make it break less and all.

This tea infuser is absolutely adorable and relatively solid. I did, however, break my first one when I washed up, set it on the drying towel, and it slid over and gently bumped a glass bowl next to it. The inside layer cracked and broke. That was my bad. So I bought a second one, but it had a small crack when it arrived. I exchanged the defective one for another new bottle, and now finally I have one that works.Four stars for durability, and it gets quite hot a minute or two after adding your hot water, because for me (even with the insulated glass walls) it gets too hot to hold safely. I’d recommend a bad to carry it in if you don’t have time to let the tea cool slightly before taking it with you somewhere.

It's very nice but I returned it as it's much larger than I wanted. I just wanted travel mug size.

This is gorgeous and I love using it. It is very warm to touch with freshly boiled water though. If you’re boiling and dashing out the door this will be too hot. Fine if you have a few mins to let cool off.

Love it! looks great and gets the job done. Liquid definitely doesn’t stay hot nearly as long as other travel mugs but long enough to finish the drink. The infuser parts on the inside tarnish very fast (brown ish not sure if it’s rust or what) but other then that its quite durable. First one i ordered the lid had an air bubble that started peeling, got a replacement no issue at all
