RV's have a limited water supply - 26 gallons for mine. Running the shower while trying to get a suitable temperature can waste more water than would be necessary for taking a shower. This shower valve is a game changer. I plumbed the shower diverter circuit to return the flow to the fresh water tank. I can run as much water as necessary to get tempered water to the valve without wasting a drop. The temperature display assures the temp will be right for a comfortable shower.My unit arrived missing its battery Sumerain sent a replacement immediately. Now almost a year later the battery wouldn't charge. An e-mail to Sumerain generated an immediate response. Turns out the first two USB cables i tried were defective.I hope the product become available again. It should be standard equipment on every RV

1) The temperature feature only worked for 6 months, couldn't enter the back to change battery.2) The shower head made a loud popping sound and water started did not come thru the holes but thru in a stream to one side, had to use the hand held feature. the occurred after 1.5 years of use.

Water hammer type of noise was coming from the shower valve every time we flush the toilets, use any faucets or run washing machine. After few months it started leaking from the sides of the valve behind the tiles. That caused water damage behind the bathroom wall. We ended up having to get a plumber to take out many tiles to replace the shower valve and fix the damage. We had just renovated the bathroom last year. This problem literally started within a month after the remodeling. This ended up costing twice the amount of money spent for the renovation. Would definitely not recommend this product. Please take this advice seriously. This is honestly a devastating experience.

The socket where you charge the battery for the LCD display has a fatal flaw. It shears off after you insert the charging cord a couple times. There is no support beyond the soldering connections. I've had it happen to me a couple times.

It was easy to install it, but handheld shower leaks and it is hard to adjust water temperature and value. Small move of the handle makes big difference in water temperature.
