I'm new to sewing and I was worried that I was going to get low quality scissors for this price. These scissors feel substantial, are comfortable and very sharp. The people helping me learn were surprised at the quality I got at this price. The accessories that come with these are a nice bonus. I especially like the thread cutter, which has been very helpful to have around.

Although I don't have anything to compare this to, they are sharp and do the job intended that for them to do.

These shears are very heavy and difficult to manage. The seam ripper/ fine snips are fantastic! Excellent for the most delicate cutwork. Wish I had found these years ago! I would send the scissors back if I could keep the snippers. If only the shears were light and comfortable and cut like those!
