I bought the F-16 set from Costco a few years ago, but it is essentially the same as this set. The workmanship and quality are outstanding. However, I am more amazed by their top-notch customer service. I contact them today to get a replacement for a broken chef knife. Within 20 minutes of my email, Rich contacts me with a small Ebay invoice to cover shipping. No questions ask. This is on a Sunday with NFL playoff on TV (Panthers vs. Seahawks). Amazing!!! I am a customer and referrer for life.

I received my set of Saber knives as a gift and I'm really delighted with them. They're a pleasure to use and make kitchen prep work a breeze. Though I have others, they've become the only knives I use in my kitchen. They have a great sharp edge and they feel very good in the hand, with excellent balance and grip. They stay sharp for ages too, and if they get a bit dull, I give them a few swipes with the built-in knife sharpener and they're like new again. I've had professional chefs over to the house and they've been very impressed too. (It's always fun to be able to wow your chef friends who are frequently annoyed at having to use the terrible knives they find at people's houses.) Every household needs a good set of kitchen knives. I highly recommend Saber, and they make a terrific, useful gift too.

Like most home chef wannabes I have a drawer full of assorted blades collected over the years. Some pretty expensive most not. Globals, Henckels Dexters, you know what I mean. Since I invested in a set of these Saber Knives I don't use any of the old blades. Sabers are easy to sharpen and they stay pretty sharp. But what I enjoy the most is how comfortable they are in my hand. Very well balanced. I could never dice five pounds of Roma tomatoes for salsa with the Global but I sure can with the Saber Chefs blade. Do they compare with a knife costing as much as a full set? That'd be up to the buyer but for my money these are a steal for twice the price. Blades for life. C'ya!

The Saber Knives in this set are the same great quality as another set I have been using for a few years. They are really the go-to knives in my kitchen. They are very sharp, and are easily re-sharpened with the provided sharpener. I like this new set for the good variety of knives and the new in-drawer storage idea. It is really helpful if you don't have a lot of counter space. Very handy, but out of the way. I recommend them.

Not only are these knives super sharp but the drawer design works perfect for my low cabinet kitchen. The sharpener works great and is simple to use. My old knives have found a new home in the trash.
