Herban CowboyForest Aloe Infused Deodorant with Hints of Cedar, Mandarin, and Black Pepper (2.8 oz)

I have sensitive skin, so this is one of the only deodorants I have found that does not bother me, and actually works to deodorize body odor. It is not an antiperspirant - you will still sweat - but it DOES get rid of the stink. And I'm not just talking about covering up your BO with a perfume. The various scents of the deodorant are actually pretty subtle. I think it works because it has natural ingredients (herbs with antibacterial and antifungal properties, etc.) that kill bacteria get rid of the smell. If I'm stinky (after the gym, etc.) and I put this on, most of the stink goes away after about 10-15 minutes. It may not work the same way as a mainstream, synthetic deodorant (Old Spice, etc.) but if you want something more natural, or more hypoallergenic, this is a great choice. It definitely works better than the crystal stick deodorant or a lot of the other "hippie" deodorants out there.The deodorant itself is a soft stick. It easily spreads onto your skin and hairs, and has a bit of a moisturizing effect, kind of like a lotion. This is ideal for dry/sensitive/eczema-prone skin, which can become further irritated by sweat and wet hairs rubbing as you move around. The deodorant will coat your skin with a thin, non-greasy barrier against irritation, and also removes the stink from your sweat. It is gentle enough to use in more personal/sensitive areas also, if that's something you're looking for.I prefer the "Dusk" scent, which I think is more subtle; my fiance prefers the "Forest" scent which is piney and a bit spicier. "Wild" is also pretty spicy, and I think the least subtle out of these 3. I have not tried any of the other scents.

This stuff smells great

I've been using this product now for 2+ years. I have no complaints. Most days it works very well. I am moving, climbing, crawling, for 6+ hours each day inside and outside. On really warm days it may wear off sooner, but almost all products do under that type of stress.Since using this product, I've had no burning under my arms, no discomfort, no anything. The product does not stain your clothes. It also lasts longer than you think it would.While the price point may deter some people, and while others still question some of the ingredients, my take on it is that this is better than what I used for 15 years prior -- better for my body and my mind. I'm happy with this product. I fully endorse the product and strongly suggest you try it, if you are on the fence about buying it. The scent does not stay overly strong throughout the day, but the product works. For most people, who may not labor greatly throughout the day, this product should work well. Given that, remember that we all are a bit different with how we respond to these products. I know some reviews say it doesn't work or it was not comfortable -- I think that's going to be a case by case basis, depending on a host of unique variables for each of us.If you want to try a more "natural" product than what is usually commercially available in grocery stores, give this a try. Well worth it.

I'm not sure, I might be crazy, but I think they changed the formulation recently and the scent isn't like I remembered. I first bought one in Sept 2014 and I was crazy in love with the scent. It was a pine, woodsy, perfect forest scent. Most importantly it was unique. Now I notice more of a minty/menthol scent, and it's reminiscent of a lot of "men's" deodorant scents. Not unique. It's not bad, it's pretty good and I'll still use it, but I am a bit disappointed.This is the only deodorant I've used for the past 1.5 years and I'll continue to use it. It's not as effective as conventional drugstore antiperspirants, namely because it has no aluminum stuff in it, but it's much healthier for you. I've tried a lot of aluminum free "hippie" deodorants and this is the only one that doesn't suck :P. I usually put a layer of magnesium oil on my armpits, then I put this on, and together they are crazy effective! (I highly recommend reading up on magnesium oil as a deodorant, it's seriously magical, but don't use it right after shaving!) I really appreciate that although the design of this product looks like it's marketed to men, it doesn't say anything about "for men" on the label. Props to Herban Cowboy! I wish more companies would do that and I don't like how cosmetic products are so harshly divided by gender. I say if you like the product, use it! I mean, I don't like a lot of men's scented products as they tend to be way too strong and menthol-y/musky, but this is nice. Just the right amount of scent to cover up your stank, but not overpowering. I would say it passes for "unisex".

My go-to deodorant is Sam's Natural Deodorant cedar scent, which I have on subscribe and save. I ran out, so thought I'd try something new. I love woodsy scents, and use natural deodorants, so gave this Herban Cowboy forest scent a try. First off, it doesn't smell like a forest. It doesn't smell bad, but I don't smell anything forest, tree or wood-like. Sam's Natural cedar deodorant is scented with cedar essential oil, so smells just like fresh cedarwood shavings.Also, this deodorant doesn't keep my pits fresh for too long. Maybe I just need to apply more. But by mid-day I had a good funk mixed with the not-forest deodorant scent.This stuff isn't bad, but it's not that good. I'll try something else next time I run out of my go-to woodsy deodorant.

I already used this product but my store hasn't been able to find it.Vegan. Not-cheap but great quality and lasts. Amazing scent.

Didn’t even get it smh🤦🏽‍♂️ Was looking forward to getting it to but its been like 4-5 months every since I tried ordering it
