Benkii Windproof Double Canopy Umbrella with Teflon coating - Compact for Travel

 i read describtion saying it is made of waterproof meterial and it can be dried instantly.i went to bathroom to "take a shower" on umbrella.wow! this umbrella is awesome! so i asked my husband to make a vedio to show you guys how amazing it is.the good thing is it has automatic open and close.it is really convenient that i only need one hand to control.With double canopy design on the top, it avoid being broken from the wind.highly recommend.

This Umbrella is a train wreck. I have used it maybe three times and the handle doesn't open properly. I thought it was user inexperience in umbrella use. But once I read the reviews I found I wasn't alone. This umbrella was only 3 months old and used maybe 5 times. I stepped outside 20 mins ago and opened the umbrella and to my sadness it broke in my hands. I had to continue on my walk to lunch without an umbrella until I found a shop that carried them. I purchased another brand and we will see how that one weathers.

There's something wrong with the stem mechanism. Not sure if it's damaged upon receipt but even the first time I used it the entire umbrella seemed very unstable and shakes just with hand movement from walking even without wind.

I bought this umbrella as a replacement for my old umbrella that I lost. Upon inspection, it does seem sturdy and the frame doesn't seem like it will snap easily after I tried to bend them. I can't comment on how windproof it is yet, but hopefully is does not break. The color options are nice and contrast the dreariness of a rainy day (which is why I bought the light blue one) and it can also be used as a sun parasol. The outer cover conveniently has a velcro closing so you won't have the problem of forcing your umbrella into it. I was pleasantly surprised by the leather-like handle and strap. It is also not that hard to push the umbrella back in once you've opened it. It's not that heavy so it doesn't add unnecessary weight when I carry it in my backpack.

I liked this umbrella, but it just broke on me, can't use it because the handle more or less fell apart completely. I ordered this in April, and as of this writing, it's September. it lasted me 5 months, not too bad I suppose, for a while I used it on more or less a daily basis to deal with the sun, and it did it's job well when it worked, it felt sturdy and had a good weight to it, didn't get as hot as a black umbrella, and it didn't feel like it let the heat in like a white umbrella. As far as I know I was gentle with it, I didn't really use it this past month, but it seemed to be in fine condition about a week ago. I found it broken in my bag today when I ended up needing it, the handle was in bad shape to say the least. The whole button mechanism was broken. I thought I could fix it, but I can't. it looks like it was held together by friction, and something finally snapped because it looks like it has to fit together in a certain way, but refuses to snap back into place. It's a shame though, I really did like this umbrella.

This started as a great umbrella, but it has stopped working due to a design flaw in the opening mechanism. Today I was running through Boston unable to open my umbrella during a severe thunderstorm because of it. I took the handle apart and discovered that the button is rising up too far, and this causes the spring mechanism that would normally trigger the umbrella to open instead locks into place. I physically cannot push the button down because of it. So the umbrella is largely useless. I can manually hold it open, but the springs want to push it back closed. So this was the only thing keeping me dry today. I might be able to come up with a workaround to make this umbrella function again, but as it's designed, I wouldn't recommend it. It's failed me twice now, and I'll be switching to my backup until I find a better one.I will take photos and post them with this review in the next day or so to help clarify the problem.

Item looked nice but didn't last more than a few uses. Bought it in March, broke in November; we're in SoCal and it hardly ever rains here. It was used a few times and today we finally got a real rain shower and the handle broke off. Could have sworn I read "Lifetime Warranty" in the product description but perhaps the seller updated it. Noticing lot of other reviews with identical problem. Hoping Amazon would step up since the seller is no longer offering this product.

Bought this umbrella because I was frustrated with all my umbrellas that I purchased from cheap discount stores. The Benkii umbrella is the perfect size and from the moment you open it you can see the quality is strong and durable. Bought the red color because it's so vibrant! Fair price, arrived super quick and was packaged properly! Highly recommend!
