So I know my review is mad late!!! I bought this desk when the pandemic started...too much was going on that writing a review wasn't on my list. Well let me tell you something! Besides how cool the desk and how it goes up and down, (hence, stand up desk) it is sturdy! And this is what impressed me the MOST. Here we are in 2022 and during my move, one of the kids misplaced the crank for the desk! I was going crazy trying to find a replacement with no luck at all! So I decided to reach out to the seller and can you believe they asked for my address and sent me a new crank in less than one week!!! The best part? They didn't even charge me!!! I give them a full 10 stars if I could!!

This is a perfect stand up desk. The best value for your money. I don't mind the manual crank (which can go on either side). It is easy to assemble, and I already moved it once to my new apartment. The desk is big enough for a laptop and many documents. The surface is scratch proof and not too shiny. I have nothing negative to say, except that I wipe it off frequently as the black surface makes it easy to see hair and dust. I am 5.1 (180 cm) tall and do not need to bring the desk to its max height. This means that a 185 cm tall person should still be happy with it. I highly recommend this desk!

I have one of the most expensive motorized standing desks at work and I wanted something similar for home.The best tip I can give you for standing desks, is make sure it has a crossbar connecting the two legs. There are multiple standing desk options on Amazon for standing desks but very very few have this important crossbar and are basically just two legs attached to the desktop. The crossbar is vital for keeping the desk stable, especially one that will be moving up and down regularly! So having this feature for this price on this desk was a great bonus.The materials used are a good value for the money. Solid metal and a durable top that looks like it will last a while and easy to match office furnishings with. Installation was pretty easy and I really like that I can put the hand crank on either the left or right side of the desk.Additionally, having a hand crank might seem like a pain, but it's not. It's easy to raise and lower the desk and I probably have a good fifty pounds on it. The nice thing about not having a motor is that if the motor fails, you'll really regret not having a manual way to move your desk.The only thing I miss from my fancy proper office desk is memory settings but this would be pretty challenging with a hand-crank model like this and for literally ten percent of the price of my office desk, this is a great value.I highly recommend this desk. So much so that we've bought two!

I never take time to write reviews, but I bought this desk 18 months ago, and it is probably the best purchase of my adult life. I can't imagine how unhealthy I'd feel right now if I had been sitting for all of these hours. I debated whether to get an electronic or manual standing desk...convenience of the push-button vs. risk of failure. As it turns out, I really don't crank it down very often - almost always use it as a standing desk. Quality is very, very good. It has survived one move and will need to survive another. I just checked, and the price is only $10 more than it was 18 months ago, so as long as quality has not changed, I highly recommend.

I use to have back pain when sitting for a log time. I transitioned from an office job role ,to an active moving around job role for 7years. Now I'm back to a desk role. This desk completely eliminated the back issue . I can sit for 3 hours , then I raise it up and keep it standing the remainder of the day . It was easy to put together. No damage to the desk. It was somewhat heavy but just take it out of the box if you can't manage the box intact. Good product. I bought the manual one because I want to keep my muscles active so I don't mind cranking it up and down. I don't have to worry about the motor going out 😂. Very comfortable to use. I bought a rocking/balance board as well great combo.

I haven't had this very long but my only regret is not buying this sooner. Absolutely life changing. I didn't think COVID-19 would last as long as it did but better late than never. It doesn't seem insanely sturdy but for just sitting at it it doesn't really have to be I guess (I'm not going to test it and push my luck, I'm an adult anyways no reason to). Absolutely no complaints. I coincidentally bumped into the UPS guy and he almost burst out into tears of joy when I took it out of the truck for him with a family member(I have no idea how he planned on getting it out himself without breaking it). Anyone that got a broken one it probably happened at shipping, I feel bad for the companies that have to replace things the shippers probably broke.I'm just under 6ft and this is the best desk I've ever had. If you are thinking about buying a desk or comparing other desks just buy this desk NOW. I've only owned it one month and I hope it lasts for years with no issues. At this point I just can't thank Stand Steady enough, at $300 this is an absolute bargain. Thank you so much!

Great standing desk! I have been looking for a manual crank standing desk that would ship to my location for about 5 years and I finally found this one!!! I love every aspect of it. It is sturdy, it was easy to assemble, cranking it up and down is easy (considering that I have a lot of stuff sitting on the desk or attached under it). It is noiseless as well, if that is a word. :-) No regrets after using it for a week. Single negative thing about it is that it is overpriced. There are electric standing desk out there on the same price range...On the reviews there are people stating that they needed extra parts for assembling the desk or were not able to assemble it because holes did not fit... Based on their pictures, I would say that they did not understand the installation instructions. The tools that you need are an Allen wrench (included) and a screwdriver (also included); that's it. All screws and similar are also provided. If you read the assembly instruction manual carefully, including the special notes for troubleshooting assembly issues BEFORE you assemble the desk, you can complete the job in less than 20 minutes.
