First off, let me say if this is not clear in the product's description (which it is): THIS IS NOT AN OEM PART.With that said, here's what I like about this part: It's cheap, monetarily speaking. It also comes with all the tools you would need to get the job done, mostly--a new razor blade, though not recommended, is extremely helpful with the initial prying to separate the display from the frame. If you are replacing your own display and don't want to spend (at the time of this review) $100+ for a new assembly, this will do the trick.What I don't like about this part: the part I received felt like a refurbished part. There were fingerprints present on the digitizer (easily cleaned off, but shouldn't have been present nonetheless), and there are some noticeable waves present when the display is on and turned at an angle, although it has to be a pretty steep one (this may be a result of poor installation, but I've replaced several of these and I doubt that's the case)All in all, if you want to cheap part to replace your damaged assembly, don't be afraid to buy this one. The seller is prompt to contact you (I had some questions and they answered within one business day) and the part works. Don't be a jerk and try to use this to replace someone else's assembly though, especially if they pay you--use the OEM part for that!

Delivered on time. I was worried about the mixed reviews on what sounded like a 1/2 chance of getting a good screen vs a Liney or dead spot screen. However I read 1 review and watched a video, both said if the screen was not snapped in properly it would cause those issues. While testing the screen I did not snap it in correctly but once I snapped it in, the screen worked flawlessly and I performed the install. Screen is still perfect. I suggest getting a good tool set as the screwdriver that came with it only removed 2/3 of the bracket screws hiding the connectors.

I am sure if you are able to retro fit or substitute parts and tools sent in the kit it may work? The screw driver that was given to do the repairs began to strip out the screws the glass didn't appear to fit even if we were able to be changed. We had to scrap the hopes that we could fix it and not have to take it into the mall for repairs, but we did. I hope that my daughter kept all the packaging I am hoping to return it.

everything we needed to replace our iphone 5 cracked screen was supplied. My husband watched several you tube videos which helped him prepare for the painstaking ordeal. Fortunately he is a patient person and has experience working with very time circuit boards and the very very small screws. This saved us more than $50 for retail repair, but it is not something anyone can do if not prepared for the many different types of small screws that must be removed and put back into the same space (have to draw a picture of the board to place the removed screws in order to put each one back where it belongs). It will take more than an hour and a whole lot of patience and steadiness.

Inside the kit contents was contact card with a phone number to help individuals who may be challenged on the installation procedure or may have questions about the product installation.The installation went well with no problems. I recommend looking at You tube procedures before and during installation. The procedure takes time and the component parts can be fragile. Be cautious to ensure that the screws removed do not get lost. Take your time, work in a well light area with a large flat surface and you can be successful too.

Note to buyers: If you are a novice tinkerer, I would suggest going with a product that includes the small parts and camera. It will save you a ton of hassle and frustration. It worked great and i put it together in less than 10 min. color and the screen worked prefectly. I bought this 2 months ago in january, now it is the end of march and it wont stay in place anymore. the sides are poping out and my screen is doing crazy things. i cant do anything on it anymore as it randomly will select things itself or it wont let me tap on something. day by day its getting worse. i am now waiting on a new screen.

Foiled at step one. Screw driver supplied to remove screws at bottom of case did not set into screw. It was too large. Could notremove screws so the kit was useless at that point. Tried several times but it was evident that further attempts would damage thelittle screws. Will probably return kit as we can not open phone to replace screen.
