I like this soap for my makeup brushes, it really gets them clean especially when i use my little silicone scrub pad for makeup brushes (also purchased on Amazon). However, i don’t like it for my sponges. It’s hard to squeeze the soap out and it ends up staying in the sponge. I prefer other products for cleaning my sponges. BUT, you really get your moneys worth! You get a lot of product! It’s just runny, so be careful when your pouring it out.

I previously had a cleaning ‘bar’ of soap, a product of ‘Beauty Blender.’ When I used it to cleanse my Beauty Blender, an evident amount of makeup was washed from the sponge. I don’t see any residue coming from my sponge when using this soap, AND my Beauty Blender seems dirty.

Cleans my brushes pretty quickly. No complaints!

It will clean your brushes but you need A LOT of the product, and you need to put it directly on the brush not in a little bowl of water.I got a bowl poured just the soap in it and then took my brushes and put the bristles directly on to the soap and moved it around so it would be covered with soap, then used my brush cleaning plastic tool to scrub my brushes, and it worked.Now when I cleaned my beauty blenders with it, I needed to add a lot of soap and rinse and repeat several times before they were somewhat clean, and I am not a person who uses a lot of foundation.I will not buy this product again. I will use another brand.

This cleaner does a really good job at cleaning all the different kinds of make up off of my brushes and sponges. I’ve used hand soap, dish soap and bar soap and by far this does the best. I use it with a brush cleaning machine. But you could use it by hand also. I highly recommend!

I wash my brushes/sponges after each use so, granted, there isn’t much buildup to remove. It works like a charm on brushes, even with bright or really pigmented shadows. It did not remove all the liquid foundation from my sponges though, even after two tries in a row (pic shows what remained). It removed a lot though and I’ll admit I’m spoiled by the beauty blender solid cleanser. It’s good but not great.
