Great seller and awesome machine
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This does exactly what it’s designed to do! Heats up fairly quickly and does a very nice job stirring with the magnetized plate/stir bar. You will need your own beaker, as the description explains. My only problem initially was that the thermometer holder didn’t work correctly but the seller very quickly sent me another so now it’s awesome! I use mine to stir lye to make soap and in a different beaker, I plan on using to proof yeast for brewing beer! I wanted to upload a second video but it wouldn’t let me...it showed how it was progressing in heating.

Works Well Enough
This serves me well with the stirring and the hotplate temperature reaching +300C. Great for reflux or any other reaction needing a standard hotplate to heat their solutions. However, in terms of precision, it lacks a whole lot. You would have to turn it up all the way to get heating.

Heater doesn't function well.
I'm a retired chemist and have used magnetic stirrer/heaters for decades. This unit stirs well but the heater doesn't function as it should. It doesn't begin heating until the dial is turned about halfway up the scale and then it suddenly becomes very hot. There is basically no warm setting and the dial acts more like an on/off switch than a gradient dial.

Temperature control off or on full (very hot) - no control
Temperature control is virtually nonexistent. Mixing has no real slow setting, just fast and faster.

Heater plate making buzzing sound right out of the box, burned up after 20 minutes of heating... typical

Not for profftional lab work
What a wast of money !!!! When i try it for the first time i smell smoke coming from it then the stirrer stoped working!! and the heater still work but i did not wont to risk my safty due to the smillng of smoke so i shutt it down so i dont know how many hour can it last

Product is good
I use this stirrer/hotplate to mix industrial acids.Works good

Good for mixing, not so much for heating
It mixes perfectly well without heat, but using the heating function actually de-magnetized the unit. Very poor design with regard to heat. That said, after replacing the magnets in the unit it does mix again, but obviously if you need the heating function you'd best look elsewhere.
