Besides looking super cool and not being too expensive, this thing works super well for a great retrieving tool. I was able to use the magnet to pick up several different pocket knives.

Everyone wants a grappling hook. Admit it! This is small enough to carry around with you to retrieve the bolt that rolls away or such. Very well machined.

I have to admit, it is fun and cool, but when i started using it, 1 of the little nail things hanging out, kinda bent, but i realized that you can just bend it back, but it will get really enoying, but thank god theres 3 extra inside, that way i can just add another

So far I like it, heard about it from the EDC forums and have been wanting one for several years now. Pretty existited i got it now. Paired it with some 40lb fishing line and seems to be sturdy, my keys weight a lot by the photo you can see it's lifting several keys, large carabiner, zippo lighter fluid container, mini knife, Herbert shard and a serversl other items. I keep it in a Altoids box with a spare 100 foot line in a plastic bag. Other items small that contain pot metals..Take away notes, I should have bought one years ago, comes with spikes hooks. If they ever break you can use nails just chop off the points and file off the head.

Love the design of the product but the steel pins that are already installed in their storage slots when you open up the unit DO NOT FIT when you try and put them in their grappling holes. The aluminum pins work great and seem to be just a tad smaller in diameter so they fit. Unfortunately I have to return the unit.

Main barrel seems well made but the steel pins appear to have been cut in a way that has slightly flared out the ends. Because of this they won’t go through the designated holes for the grappling hook state. The aluminum pins installed fine so it still works but I will have to file the tips of each of the steel hooks to get them to work.

A superb retrieval grappling hook.It's durable & well made. This will NOT hold a persons weight. The tip has a magnet and is intended to be used to retrieve a tool, knife, car keys anything metal. The grappling hooks are there to grab onto something and retrieve it. This is a no brainier for a bug out bag! The grappling hook comes with a second set of hooks. Nice. Very pleased.

Not use in anger, fortunately… however just spent 3 hours carefully grinding down and then polishing the spare set of pins that were eve so slightly too large. Manufacturer, as based in The USA, wouldn’t ship a replacement, fair enough I guess.

Pricey

The metal rods will not stay in... I thought that they would be held in by the magnet... But not so much.
