Computer User's Godsend
I bought this on a whim just to try out thinking it would never work for me to reduce shoulder pain and would probably just get in my way. Boy, was I wrong! I am an extreme computer user. I'm always on it. Sometimes 24 hour stretches during marathon gaming sessions or 10 plus hours just surfing. Due to this, I developed pretty severe shoulder pain that was bad enough that I couldn't sleep on my right side for the past 2 years. So, over this time I've tried various things to alleviate the pain(gel pads, etc). Enter the eLink Pro. Once I saw it I thought it would never work on my pain or even be useful in my computer setup. And with a 50 dollar price tag I was really skeptical to drop that much on what I thought was basically a novelty item. I'm never been more wrong in my life. This product is the real deal. It's super strong and easy to place on anywhere on your desk. It glides easily it any position either mousing or typing. The armrest is comfortable and I haven't experienced any heat issues even after hours of use. It swings out of the way when not in use and even looks cool too. But the best aspect is that it has relieved all of my shoulder pain. Coupled with a good chair, the eLink has forced me to sit straighter an have better posture while I'm on the computer. I can now sleep on my side and my back pain flare ups are gone. I can honestly say that this product has changed my life for the better. My gaming is much more comfortable and general surfing is a joy to me now. I've introduced it to friends who were skeptical, but after trying it, are converts also. It works so well for me I am going to get a second one for my left arm. It's that comfortable for me. If you work with the computer for any length of time or have shoulder pain, give this product a try. You'll be glad you did!

Very good product leaving me with one wish.
This a very good product and does exactly what I thought it would do. It is well made and sturdy, and attaches easily. The rest portion swivels 360 degrees and the support arm swivels 180 degrees side-to-side.The support arm will also lift about 45 degree from horizontal and adjusts firmly with a locking screw. The only thing I wish it would do (but kinda knew it wouldn't when I purchased it) is adjust lower. As is, the support arm will not go lower than horizontal. The reason I would like this is that I keep my track-ball mouse on the pull-out table from my computer desk which is about 3 1/4 inches below the main desk top. I wanted to attach the armrest to the upper table as it is more sturdy. Now I have to attach it to the pull-out table. If I hadn't replaced the sliders a couple of years ago with more sturdy ones, the table would not have been sturdy enough to support the armrest and the weight of my (rather skinny) arm. In addition, I had to place a small book under the track-ball to lift it about 1/2 inch. So far, however, I do feel a little easing of the tendonitis that I've experienced for the last couple months, which is the reason I purchased this. Thanks!

Great Device, Taller Folk Need To Take Care
It barely lowers to the level of the desk it's clamped to, and the arm rest has an unexpected angle to it - it's not level/flat. Taking a star for the barely-horizontal nature of the device, as it's not well-suited for taller folk.If your shoulders are around 16" above the surface of the desk this device will be of somewhat limited use to you. You may wish to look elsewhere for devices which can be lowered below the horizontal as well as raised. Or consider putting your mouse and keyboard on stacks of books or risers. For what it is, at the price it's offered, it is a fantastic product, and one which I would recommend, with the above caveats, and cautioning the buyer not to just grab any old thing, but take the time to map out where you plan to put your arms, the device, and then tailor your shopping accordingly.

Close, but not a keeper - better alternatives, although none great
This is not my idea of a well-executed and thought-through final (read:usable) design. I have had a similarly designed/constructed arm Ergoguys Arm-stand Computer Armrest (eg-ergoarm) for years and it never was the "best" in design... and it was never that smooth, and the arm pad kept falling off and well it ended up making a sick puppy noise... Regardless this one is too "sticky" in the pivot joints and is actually uncomfortable right from the get-go. Included in that, is the too-small size of the arm rest. Also the little black thing that is at the top of the threaded lock-down mechanism falls right off. It also should have some neoprene on the top of it to make it a better design to get onto and keep on the desk. It is sturdy but just does not perform as it should . If the would combine some of the features of this one here: which i also bought/now use ErgoRest - 330-016-BK - ErgoRest Articulating Arm Support - Black - Long Arm, Long Pad (which I find too much plastic parts in the wrong places) in this stronger design they would have a winner... Seems like these all fall into the Goldilocks drama without any sign of a "mama bear" design

Great!
I use a tablet with a pen instead of a mouse. With my desk and chair as they are, my elbow was starting to hurt because of the constant awkward angle. I read a few reviews of a couple of products like this and decided on this one. The clamp that goes on the desk only takes about 2 inches of the desk space which was really important to me. It also can raise up or down with a lock bolt depending on the height you need. I was concerned that it would hamper my motion as I worked, but it doesn't. It glides with you as you move, supporting you along the way. I've only had it about a day and I really like it. It seems really well made, moves well and gives a good feeling of security. I agree with one reviewer that the rest does not breath well and it does get a little warm where your arm/elbow sits on the rest. But would be the only slightly negative thing I can say about this product. I'm very happy I made this purchase.
