Skar Audio Dual 10" Complete 4, 000 Watt EVL Series Subwoofer Bass Package - includes Loaded Enclosure with Amplifier

This little subwoofer will surprise the crap out of you. I was extremely impressed with the small compact size and just how much sound came out of this thing. This little sub easily hits at least 138 to 140 decibels. Definitely did not expect all that sound to come out of a little tiny subwoofer. Really impressed

Kind of shocking what an 8" will do. Skar gets a lot of hate, but nothing about the packaging or product indicates low quality. I feel I've received good value for my money.Update: The tuning of the box is a bit annoying. There is an amazing amount of gain near tuning, then it falls off a cliff below. For most music it hits really nice, but bass tracks that dig deep the sub leaves much to be desired. Starboy and similar tracks play amazing, but Killshot is basically unplayable. Bass just disappears below tuning. Blueberry yum yum is another difficult track. First part of beat hits nice, when it drops it quiets to a whisper. I like them 30's -N- Low's, so leaves me wanting. I wouldn't mind trading some gain for a bit lower F3. Otherwise I'm satisfied. This is in-cab with a 2nd gen xB. A hatchback or similar compact car this package will do nicely, stuffed in a trunk maybe not so much.

I have always had 10s, 12s, and 15s, this is my first 8 inch sub. I was thinking it wasn’t going to be nothing like my others I have had in the past but man I was wrong! For a 8 inch sub it gets down! It’s on par with decent 12s. If you’re limited on space or just looking for something small, then this is for you! If your looking for something not as loud and wanting just bass to fill in your sound then you may want to go with the Skar sdr or svr series. Skar evl 8 has won me over on what a 8 could do. The little sub that could!

I would like to give a good review but I purchased this setup a little over a month ago and it caught fire and almost burnt my car down. The amp never went into protect mode and fuse never popped. Controls were not turned all the way up or even close to being turned all the way up. Amp was still on while the subwoofer was engulfed in flames. Contacted Amazon and was told nothing can be done and Skar has not returned my messages. Definitely not a good setup nor is it a safe setup. Glad to still have my vehicle but it could have been a lot worse had I not seen the flames coming from my trunk.

Great subs and great kit but the amp on mine at least cuts out after 20-30 minutes whether it be low bass or high bass on the nob all in all after great speakers and kit they kit nice just careful with the amp

Way better than I was expecting! These hit hard, even with double bass in heavy metal.

Do your research before installing on your own…It wasn’t impossible but we learned a lot during the installation…

Hit hard and clean. The wiring is not a true 1/0 gauge (has think insulation). Once you get the amp tuned to a solid 32 hz it is amazing
