Oh my Gosh, What a Roller Coaster!!!
Wowzer! what a read! This is why I love C.L Stone. Her books are always amazing! And boy did this book not disappoint. Sometimes I wish I could just go to the future and read all of the books in the series so I didn't have to wait. But if you're trying to find out what happens in this book here is the gist (while giving the least amount of spoilers)Mr.Blackbourne- Loved his moment. Even the 3ds moment because we got a look into his character and the fact that he DOES treat Sang differently. Especially the next morning! That was just adorable.Dr.Green- Should have seen it coming. Not gonna spoil it but Dr.Green you just keep being you! oh and his bantering with Mr.Blackbourne was hilarious!Kota- I just like him. Don't get alot of one on one time with Kota in this book, just enough to keep him in mind and to see a little bit more into his character.Nathan- Okay, I like Nathan, I do, and for most of the book I liked him but at the very end (once you read it you will understand) and in the A report he made me mad (which I'm guessing he's not the only one who will act this way, and that his reaction was more "natural" but it still made me mad.Silas- Not much of him. about the same amount of screen time as Kota. Love Silas though. He reminds me of a mama bear. Strong and fierce but protective <3North- that scene was HAWT!!! I hope we get more scenes like THIS!! I have NO COMPLAINTS about this moment. Honestly if you didn't like this scene (you know which one I'm talking about) I don't know whats wrong with you.Gabriel- He just might be my favorite. It has to be the gentleness of his character and how he seems just a little insecure to all of the other academy boys. Sometimes I just want to reach in and hug him, tell him I love him and that he's amazing <3 he just wants Sang's attention so bad!! and I want her to give it to him!!!Luke- some time at the diner with sang. Nothing stands out hugely, but I just might be on overload because of all the drama. Love Luke <3Victor- love his character! he has a total "prince" aurora about him. He treats Sang like his personal princess. Ah the muffin moment was cute XD still not alot of victor, but when we did have him, his moments stood out to me.*everyone I don't like*Sang's sisterShe's still annoying (even more so than in previous books) and just all around stupid sometimes! Like ugh she gets in my nerves! Sometimes I wish C.L . Stone would just kill her off so I don't have to deal with her anymore!Jade (B**** be cray cray) Like this girl needs some long hours of therapy and a good slap in the face, preferably serveral times while wearing spiked gloves.Danielle- meh about as annoying as Sang's sister. Jealous of Sang. again. meh*like all of the "bad" teachers*meh, less drama with them this book. Theres drama, and small moments, but it's more like their going to build up into something bigger, but these are the small ripples at the beginning of a tsunami.Mr.Griffin (Nathan's dad)- Dudes actually pretty scary. Like I would not want to be in the same room with him. Ever. One of the most intimidating characters if you ask me.overall I LOVED this book. Want to buy all of the series right now!! (times like these I wish I had a time machine) If you liked the previous C.L stone books, You'll obviously love this one.And for most it should be obvious where the story is going. I for one love anime and Japanese revers harem, So I'm not one bit upset or annoyed of the idea. I actually love it. It's like being in a cookie store with hundreds of different kinds of cookies but being told you can only have one type. I don't want just chocolate chip. I want chocolate chip, White chocolate, peanut butter, smores, oatmeal (ok probably not oatmeal) but you get the idea ;)So, until the next book, I'll be anxiously twiddling my fingers and reading other books. (while gazing surreptitiously at my calender counting down the days to the next book.) BTW Liar of the Scarab beetles series by C.L. Stone comes out near fall. :D just saying.

C.L Stone had done it again!!!!!!
I have done it yet again. I have devoured another one of C.L's books within 3 hours. She has succeeded in making each new book in this series better than the one before. This book has much more drama than you can ever imagine. To make this easier, I'm going to name off some characters and summarize their role in this book.Sang: Sang has been one of my favorite characters in the book. She is assertive, hard-working, and strong, mentally and physically. She deals with a lot of drama in this book. Between Rocky drama, Mr. Griffin, Jade, and much more, she has loads of problems to deal with. It pains me to say that she deals with some hard situations and uncomfortable decisions, but she will get through them, not without scars and bruises though. As some might know, this is the book in which Sang gets her first kiss....Let's just say the kiss won't disappoint any readers. Just know everyone will get their kiss. Okay, moving on..Nathan: Nathan is the main character in the book and also my favorite for this book. When his dad comes back he has to learn to stand up for himself and fight back a little. Nathan struggles to convey his feelings to Sang in this book also. He doesn't want to hurt her but he finds out how she feels in one of the bad situations that happens to her. He will rise to the occasion as the main guy for this book.Kota: I'm sad to say that you don't see much of him in this book. Luckily, no drama happens involving him in this book. Although he is not in this book a lot, he does have a nickname for her. ;)Victor: I seriously love Victor. (DON'T CONTINUE IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE OTHER BOOKS) As you know since he admitted his love to Sang in the last book, he is more in sync with his feelings for her. He continues to spoil her and treat her like a "princess".North: North has good parts just this book. He finally gets to take her out on that date. (That's all I'm gonna say.............)Silas: Silas is pretty popular at their school. He is supposedly the one dating Sang and he tries to claim her as best as he could so she doesn't get any trouble with the guys. Silas will have some punches to throw around....Don't worry.....it will be epic. ;)Luke: Luke oh Luke! I am seriously in love with him. He is the best. He has some good roles in her but not the biggest......Gabriel: Gabriel doesn't have too much roles but he will get some fun time with Sang.....Mr. Blackbourne: I believe every book we read, every time we get a little more of him. He is like a onion. You keep peeling and peeling. One layer= one book. He opens up a little more.Sean aka Dr. Green: Sean gets a lot of roles in this book. He and Sang connects a lot more. Let me just tell you know.....He will do something unexpected but not what you think. or maybe it is. Teehee.Other characters:Rocky: Stirs up some trouble... So does..DanielleMarieJade (You'll find out something disturbing about her)Will: He gets literally one part in the book. Oh and it is good.Karen: She will help Sang out in some hard situationsJay: Not as bad as you thinkOverall, this book is very good. The books before have been almost a little more tender and fragile. It was as if they were glass. Something could go wrong and BOOM it shatters! This book feels more real and solid. I am finally getting a taste if the real life of the Acadamy. Oh and if you have read The Thief just know you'll see some of them on and off in the book. Once again I strongly recommend this book. It is worth the four dollars that you planned to use at McDonald's. So worth it!! This isn't a book in the series you can skip. Don't even try. I swear once you read it you will love it.Btw, if your not a fan of the reverse harem thing going on than don't read. (I honestly don't understand when people leave a bad review when they know it's going to be centered around that) Anyways, I hope you enjoy the much as I did. I really whole heartedly did!!-Devianna Smith <3

Struggling to get through
The writers decision to make each book focus on a very short time frame is making this book feel very long winded its delaying character growth. Although realistic a child of abuse would still be shy and timid I really struggled to get through this one took me 3 days to read when usually i get through books within a day. Also feels like a book that should be under kindle unlimited i dont think i can rationalise spending any further money on this series. I've lost all interest in wanting to know what will happen next!

Warning - the team's relationship with Sang becomes abusive
I loved this series so far and the relationships between the team and Sang. They are her protectors, but lead her into as much trouble as they protect her from and their relationship with her up to now has been innocent. I can understand Dr Green and Mr. Blackbourne letting the boys protect Sang under their supervision,as part of their learning about girls. In this book some of the boys step over the line and it's not until the end of the book that one of the team calls the others out over it. There is no excuse for any of the boys to abuse Sang, even if she lets them. She is 16, from a failed family, vulnerable to suggestion and lacks understanding of what is normal behaviour.I am also not happy about Dr Green and Mr Blackbourne's relationship with her. They are in a position of authority yet take advantage of her naivety and compliance to bind her into the team for their own benefit. It's such a shame as the book would have been delightful without these issues.

addictive as always
An avid fan of the Ghostbird series, and all other books by C.L. Stone, I was incredibly excited to read book 6, released in June 2014. In this book we see how Sang gets closer to her academy boys, and at the same time further from her sister Marie. Now that Marie knows Sang isn't her real sister, she hates her more. Marie blames Sang for her mum being in hospital, even for their dad leaving them; none of which was Sang's fault. At the same time, there's always a problem that needs to be solved in the Academy, so Sang is busy trying to help the boys there, and it doesn't help that Nathan's horrible father turns up unexpectedly. McCoy is still out there somewhere, as is Volto and everyone is watching their step because of Hendricks watchful eyes.I loved reading this chapter in the series and cannot wait until October when book 7 is released. Sang is getting more confident with the boys but more confused with her feelings too! No spoilers but I'm scared that there will be more trouble between the academy boys in the next book. I just hope it doesn't ruin their family :/Favourite Quotes:"She fell over," Nathan said."Yeah," Gabriel said. "I thought girls fainted all graceful. She just crashed."It seemed the more time I spent with them, the more I felt their absence when they were gone. The anger in the pit of my stomach eased a bit more every day the longer I stopped thinking about it. It turned into numbness, and from there, it became easier to examine - from a distance."Nathan still has to go with you two," North said."It doesn't take three of us to take Sang out," Gabriel said."No, it takes Nathan, or me, or Silas to keep you three stooges out of trouble. And Silas and I have to work the diner. So either Nathan goes or you all stay.""I'm a stooge?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.North smirked at me. "Sang Baby, you're the stooge.""Good thing, too. If I hadn't gone through with it, I never would have met Owen..." He squeezed tighter at my feet, reassuring. "Or you. That would have been tragic if I'd missed you.""Kota? We've got a problem. Yeah, another one."As we started up the stairs towards Marie's room, I felt worse and worse about not being able to tell either of them. Secrets appear worse on the outside."I don't know. You broke her. You fix her." There was shuffling. "I'm going to go wash the dishes.""I already did," Mr Blackbourne said, although his voice was almost too soft to hear."I'm going to go break one then!""Don't...""They're my dishes! I'll do it if I want to."

AMAZING SERIES, A MUST READ BOOK!!!
SPOILERS!!!I started this series about 5 days ago and am in love with all the characters, I am kind of pissed off with Nathan at the end of the book as to what he was thinking about running away with Sang and thinking the others don't feel the way he does for her. In one way I'm thinking I understand his point of view but the other I'm thinking OMG I hate you for thinking that!!It was nice to see more of Dr.Green and Mr.Blackthorne in this book and loved the run away moment with North to North Shore!I'm about to read the sneak peek of the next book, but can't wait for the actual 7th book release which I think is in December? This series has made me laugh, be near to tears and feel really awkward, as if I was the character itself, it's so well written and C.L.Stone has now become my fav author! <3

Wow
Ok so first thing I want to say is why does the author torture us with a preview of the next book when it is clearly not out yet??? Best book ever. Well alongside the other books in the series. The plot so different to any of the other books in the series. What i love about this series how each book has the same characters but really different plots! And they each get better and better. I love reading about how Sangs relationships are growing between the boys. I love how Dr Green and Mr Blackbourne were in it a lot more. I love everything to do with this book and I will be looking up when the next one is coming out! I defiantly recommend reading this book.
