Works well
Seems to work well. I use distilled water. I have very dry heat, so when I turn the heat on, I often have to then turn the airwasher(s) on. I bought two and they humidify the air. I can't really tell if they purify the air as well. Very easy to set up, just have to put the filter in.

It took me awhile to choose this humidifier. I made the right choice.Works great during the winter. An added bonus I was not expectingI have four people in my house and three dogs. The amount of dustin my house while using this was cut by 80%. An added bonus to be sure.Cleaning is not that bad, once a month I take it apart and wash. It takes about20 minutes. To be fair I use distilled water. If you use tap water It might takea little longer because of hard water deposits. I have used for one winter andhave had no problems whatsoever.

The product info states it's a humidifier and air washer, but I wake up every morning with a dry throat and cough; my nasal passages are extremely dry. Wish I had just bought a humidifier instead. Also, customer service is non-existent so no way to trouble shoot anything.I agree with all of the above testimonial; if it sounds too good to be true (humidifier:airwasher) then it is. Disappointed as I always wake up stuffy and it doesn't seem to be cleaning the air either as my allergies are horrible.

Highly recommended! Engineering masterpiece.
Perfect, I love it. Effectively shows current relative humidity on a bar display and puts a lot of water into dry air without forcing it to get overly damp like ultrasonic/heated evaporation would do. No filters to change - disks are washable. I use it for 3 years in 800sq ft space and still super-happy.When first started let it run on auto/high as furniture and hardwood floor would suck in water in the air during the first days of operation.I measured electricity consumption with kill-a-watt - it uses mere 5-6-7 Watts of power rotating these disks. For comparison, even the cheap AC window fan is 40-60 watts!!! It's a really high-quality engineering masterpiece with no corners cut when designing/manufacturing.Even the water tank is double-walled to prevent spilling and condensation.Plastic is a high-quality ABS, not fragile cheap one.The appliance is made in South Korea, and they're obsessed with quality.UPDATE: Still happy after 6 years using them, have 3 of them.Typical issue self-help tip: if motor which spins disks will start clicking - it's repairable by a $12 part - a motor for a microwave turntable with exactly the same dimensions and specs - look for part numbers TYJ50-8A19 compatible with F63265G60AP NN-SD797S NNSD372S, I had to shave 1/2mm off the plastic shaft and it works for 3 more years.
