Works great & doesn’t kill a high gloss finish.
I added this to my final top coat of PPG Amerishield VOC 2 part polyurethane, per instructions. 1 bottle to 1 gallon per the instructions. The product stayed suspended in the poly after initial mixing. Once the poly cured it revealed a nice soft finish. The granules didn’t sink in the poly, which was applied at ~5mils thick. When you walk barefoot on it, it isn’t sharp under foot and with shoes on it gives a nice planted feel. Very similar to boat shoes & non skid marine coatings.I was a little worried about it breaking up the high gloss finish, but after everything cured the high gloss was back. When mixing it into your paint/poly of choice, introduce it like your adding flour to a mixing bowl. Adding a little at a time while power mixing and you’ll be okay.

Saved my stamped concrete patio
My wife and i were about ready to tear up our new stamped concrete patio because is was so slick it was dangerous when wet. Researched products to add a textured surface and found this product. I liked the fact that it suspended in the sealer material and did not sink to the bottom before drying. I used a cheap pump sprayer to apply it by pouring in the grip material after putting in the sealer. I made sure to stir Very well and then sprayed on as fast as i could to prevent the material from settling. Once dried it left a slight textured surface that is now slip proof but feels fine in bare feet. Texture also slightly changes the sheen of the concrete but not enough to create a problem. Now that we have this solution we may put stamped concrete in the backyard also.

worked great on my epoxy floor
I was skeptical about how these beads would work, but they do. the floor feels great. Not too rough at all, but I don't worry about slipping. An epoxy floor without these beads would be a slip & fall nightmare.

I recommend for any concrete patio
Worked well once you can get it to mix with sealer. I recommend for any concrete patio.

Worked great as an additive to paint for stairs
Worked great as an additive to paint for stairs. I used a quart of paint for stairs and added a couple of tablespoons. We used for the basement stairs so I was more concerned about slip and less about looks. Had this been in the interior of the house, I might have used less for less texture. I stirred it frequently while painting. Super grip. We won't be slipping on these steps! Doesn't change the color.

It works!
Have used this product on my pool surround for several years. Mixed with an epoxy acrylic paint it creates a safe surface when wet.

Shark grip works great!!!
Sharkgrip works as advertised. I had a stamped concrete overlay put over my existing sidewalk. It was so slippery I was sorry I had it done even though it made a world of difference in my homes appearance. My husband added the shark grip according to the instructions to the sealer and now its like walking on invisible sandpaper. Fantastic. Now I am thinking of doing my back patio with a design without worrying some one will slip and fall.
