Mayo Chiki!, Vol. 2

Its Golden Week, and all Jiro is looking forward to is a few days without getting beaten by his sister. But When Konoe shows up asking to stay with him and to be his butler as she has been thrown out of the house, even a chicken like him can not turn her away. But when Kureiha and Shizuru show up, poor Jiiro is up to more than his neck in trouble. Then we meet a new girl, as she runs Jiro over with her scooter. Usabi Manamune, she is a cute freshman who is also a member of the "Handicrafts" club, makes a demand of Jiro. Date her during the school festival - or let the members of the S4 (Subaru's fan club) will kill him. Apparently Jiros relationship has taken a bit of a BL turn and the fangirls want Jiro out of the picture. Can Jiro pull of the scam, without hurting Konoe, or revealing his fear of girls.I watched the anime and am reading the manga, and so far they are following each other closely. This was a lot of fun with all of the humor the show had. a good read

Good Condition and a good Story altogether

I watched the anime awhile ago and loved it. I picked up the first book a few months ago and loved it. It's got a strong plot, like the manga. I ordered this March 4 and got it the 6th. I haven't read much, but so far this arch is a little less strong as the last. I'm sure when I'm done, it'll be better, but it's got a slow start.

The frightful and treacherous (Not really) journey to cure a young man of his phobia of women, continues with their efforts bearing no fruit. Humor fills this story that can appeal to all if they are willing to give it a chance, and can hook those who are adamant fans of manga and followed the story by purchasing the first volume.

Volume II continues the artistic trend of killing with cuteness, and brings the story up to just before the school festival. More than a few laughter spells occurred 😁.

It's odd how sometimes there's a completely different feel to the characters and story, drama-level-wise when compared to the anime-version. Both have their inherent good points and I haven't founds spots to complain about this series yet!

Generally entertaining with a decent story, some humor and fan service. The artwork is also pretty good. I will be picking up more in this series.

this is as funny as the first volume it had some really good moments in it and quite the interesting story if you hadn't read the first volume the you should do it
