Now here's a clever idea that really complements your imagination - Matthews Reverse Stand. An innovative approach to folding a tripod without compromise tothe stand's integrity or capacity. It's a tough little stand with a really neatlittle feature! The dimensions are particularly impressive when you compare the maximum height you're able to attain against the minimum folded length. And, it's lightweight, strong and extremely durable. However, should there be a need for repair, it's constructed using nuts and bolts not rivets making repairs a whole lot easier! Comes with 4 risers and a 5/8" pin. Now that's versatile!

Sturdy
Very sturdy - it is bolted, not riveted. Well worth the price.

The best out there.
Strongest stands out there bar none. I went with the MERF style so they'd fit for international travel. These are an inch longer.Tried manfroto, flashpoint, kupo. These hands down are noticeably sturdier then any of the others.

More sturdy then normal stand at the same size ratio.
I have this 7 footer, because my cheap regular stand about the same size felt cheaper. For size radio it is better then a regular stand. This holds my flash well, but I also use it with a 5lb portable monolight with battery, called orlit rf400 which is like or a tad bigger then godox ad400. You can read the spec, but it is average size and weight for a typical stand, maybe a tad heavier. I seen lighter reverse stand but I image the stability of those will not be as good and more for flash and a modifier. Will it hold my monolight with a metal 22" beauty dish, maybe, but I have a thinker stand for that. I am using this on the go and outdoor. Sthinker heaver sturdier stand will be for indoor studio where it doesn't have to be moved much.
