EISCO Dropping Funnel, 500ml - PTFE Key Stopcock, Open Top, Cylindrical - Ungraduated - Cylindrical, Borosilicate Glass

Never bought anything like this before however I wanted to make a tincture using the percolation method. This dropper bottle is a much higher quality than I was expecting which was a pleasant surprise. The glass has a nice weight and thickness to it. The photo I’ve included shows it setup on a stand with the dried herbs and alcohol macerating overnight. A teeny tiny drop of fluid did seem to have slipped through the stopper even though it’s in the closed position. That’s not a big deal for my purposes though. The video shows it in action! 153 proof alcohol running through dried Soursop leaves. Excellent purchase. Works as designed. Clean up is a breeze thanks to the tapered design of the stopcock.

I havent used it yet, but it looks solid. I will update if not.

The funnel itself is very nice – and with the open top, it's a rare piece of glassware, so I was happy to find it here. The only problem is the packaging, which is totally inadequate. First time it arrived, it was broken. Got a refund, and had another one sent to me, which was intact, but still a pain.

Plastic nut holding stopcock tight failed- broke in twain, after 6 non- excessive tightenings, rendering item useless. Presently searching for replacement that doesn’t fall apart.

I have been making solvent extracts and need a moderate sized percolator. This does the job wonderfully and for a good price

If you make wine or infuse oils and tinctures this is a must

Just what I needed to do extractions. Very pleased the glassware arrived unbroken.

Nozzle snapped off during regular use. No heat was applied and it has never been dropped. Didn't even last 6 uses and spilled everywhere. DO NOT BUY!
