They're diodes.I built a bridge rectifier from them to convert 15VAC from my low voltage landscape lighting transformer to DC for use with DC peel/stick LED strip tape.To nobody's surprise, the rectifier worked and I could provide power without 60Hz flicker. YAY!These won't change your life, but if you lower your expectations a little >< they will allow current to flow in one direction as you'd reasonably expect.One negative: solder sure as hellfire did not want to stick to the leads on these.

I needed 1 of these to fix my 60 inch LCD TV. It works great now. Now I have plenty left if I ever need any more. Price was good.
