9 Outputs 12 Amp 12V DC CCTV Distribution Power Supply Box for Security Camera, UL Listed

I cannot comment on durability as I have only had it up and running a couple of months. It is on 24/7 and so far has yet to miss a beat. It has gone through two outages and a couple of serious "dips" in power and did not fail nor seem to even notice! It runs surprisingly cool for a power supply that has no fan. I guess one is not required. I have 8 cameras's running off of it so I only use one "bank" on connections the other 8 are turned off for now. As I add additional cameras I will utilize the full potential of the unit.It has a small footprint and is silent. Lots of knock outs so I did open up several of them to let the unit have more air and as I have said, it runs cool. Connections are easy although I have large fingers and often find working in small spaces difficult. I pre "tin" connections and this makes it easier to insert pos and neg wires in the proper places.So, bottom lone, it's a nice unit and 12 amps at that price is pretty good. I hope it runs many years, but if not I will let everyone know.

The 12 amp distributed power supply box arrived when expected and was adequately packaged. I’m using two of them to power both visual spectrum LED 12 volt floodlights and Infrared lights illuminating the perimeter of my house. The power supplies have been working fine without any problems to date. Low voltage lighting options have gotten so much better in the last several years and their use cuts a great deal of expense from perimeter lighting. With 8 LED floodlights and 8 infrared lights the cost of adding 8 120V outlets would be in the range of $1,000 or more. Here the cost of doing all 16 lights is about the same as putting in one 120V outlet. Moreover I use a dedicated APC UPS to provide backup power for the lights. Low amperage allows the lights to stay on for an hour or more on battery backup. Infrared lights have a motion detector built in so they are powered during the evening, the other floodlights are controlled using a dedicated wifi enabled Tuya relay board. Going to add another to power low voltage shades and blinds.

I wasn't confident in the UL listed claim, so I wrote to Underwriters Laboratories. They confirmed that the listing is genuine.At the time of writing, the ad claims that the power supply is a Meanwell. It is actually unbranded and was made by Something High Electric Company of Xiamen, China (yes, I wrote to them too). This claim is why the seller lost a star, and they do not make this claim on their own website.The PCB is frugal, but there are no manufacturing defects and it is fine for this application. Two of the fuse holders in mine were slightly deformed, probably during assembly, but their function is not affected.The enclosure is pretty good, no complaints there.The whole thing works fine and I would buy again.

I purchased this to automate holiday inflatable decorations. This product met the specifications and allowed me to connect up to 18 12V holiday decorations. Adding an AC WIFI outlet I can set schedules to turn on and off the decorations and manage the schedule through my phone. Big time saver and easy to adapt it for my needs.

Hooked everything up and it solved my camera problem. Works great

Product looks to be well built and a quality product. I especially like that it is UL LISTED and that it has 12 amps of power - which is good if you are using cameras with higher powered night vision LED’s or larger cameras that may require more “juice” to operate correctly at night in total darkness.Power supply was shipped well packed and arrived in a timely manner. I would definitely buy again.

Just As Described Nice Quality

After my old distributed power supplied died, I tried to find parts to repair it. Due to it's age, it was obsolete and parts were no longer available. I did some searching and found the Installer CCTV unit and the price was very reasonable. After placing my order, the unit arrived within a few days and I installed it. It worked great and as a result I was able to get our security system back online very quickly. I would definitely order this distributed power supply again.
