I am disappointed. The fit is ok in that I'm often ...
I find honest reviews really helpful so this might sound rather brutal.I am disappointed. The fit is ok in that I'm often between a uk 38 & 39 but I do wear quite thick socks so I thought I could go for thinner if the fit was a bit tight. What I didn't want was a boot where my feet slipped around as some had reported happened. So 38 is fine. As to the non-slip...........There was black ice on the pavements the first day I tried them out & I can certainly affirm that the supposed 'ICE LOCK technology' didn't work for me on that. Maybe Norwegian black ice is different to ours but I certainly walked very cautiously that day.The next trial was across muddy fields where we have a lot of horses.Again the grip was very disappointing & I did then feel the design of the boot wasn't for a dog walker like me who wants to stride confidently across muddy fields. So honest truth is I wouldn't recommend these except as quite a neat, not too expensive, ankle high boot for use in the garden but not for 'serious' walking in icy conditions.Hope that helps others!

I love them
A workmate had these in black. i was impressed. Especially with the grips, because I am scared of ice. They were listed as pink when I brought them. When they arrived they were a bright orangey coral colour. I was going to send them back but it was very snowy so I just wore them. I brought these two or three years ago.I just love them. I wear them all the time. Initially I did get laughed at because they are so bright. I would probably get a darker colour next time. My work shoes are sketchers are not waterproof so I wear these two and from work. I live in the country. The first year I brought them was a very wet summer. So they were worn daily all summer. I have worn them out shopping and during country walks. They are lightweight, warm, waterproof and anti slip. I can slip them on easily with my hip condition. They are still in great condition. They have been in the washing machine on a low heat setting with no problems. I have replaced the inner sole bit a couple of times. But thats the only bit that ever seems to show any sign of wear.

Good grip comfortable ankle wellies
I bought these for popping on when taking the dog out for a quick walk. I was especially taken with them as they’re supposed to be good when walking on icy pavements. I bought a 6 1/2 as I take a 6 but thought they might be small fitting plus wanted to wear thick socks when wearing them. They are roomy so may have got away with the 6 but happy to be able to wear winter socks with them. Anyway, so far, I’ve not slipped at all and feel more confident being towed along by dog on icy pavements. And, of course, they’re completely waterproof so dry feet after walking on wet grass. I’m very happy with these.

Happy
I normally take a 7.5(UK) but ordered an 8.0 in this boot because I expected to wear thick socks. The fit is fine but the heel of both feet slip up within the boot slightly when walking - this may be because they are new. However, overall, they are performing well. I undertook three hours of power-washing patios and paths today and my feet stayed warm and dry. The boots grip well in the wet but still slip on green, algae covered paving slabs - perhaps this was expecting too much. Overall happy with my purchase.

No more slipping on the ice
I bought these because it was icy and I had been looking for boots which would help me stay upright. They certainly do the job! The only down side is that the right foot is a little loose due to the size of my foot. That mean that foot aches a little after wearing for a while, but it’s worth it for my ability to remain upright. They’re also warm and cozy. Would recommend.

Unlikely to grip on ice.
These boots arrived on time but I am disappointed with the shallowness of the tread on the soles and very much doubt they will grip on ice as they slide on a wet surface which I have tried. Over priced for what they claim to achieve. Comfortable and cosy for an ordinary waterproof ankle boot which I could have bought at half the price.

Happy so far!
So far, I really like these boots, but I haven't had them long enough to test them on slippy surfaces, which is what I got them for. I went a half size up from my normal size and they seem a good fit, and they look cute. They came in a good strong Nordic Grip box.

Good buy
I bought these primarily after a hamstring injury as I couldn't get wellies on easily. I've only worn them in the mud but they seem to be pretty safe in that. They are extremely comfortable to wear and I would choose them over wellies every time if it wasn't for the deep mud and puddles.
