CompTIA Security+ SY0-301 Practice Test Questions (Get Certified Get Ahead)

This book is formatted well for kindle. You can go though all of the questions and put your answers, and then check is you got it right. Or you can go one by one - problem with Kindle that it's not really comfortable to go through all of them and then go back and forth for checking if you answered correctly. You can set bookmarks or noted, but still not really productive. Questions themselves cover topics well. Would be good, if author would put more questions to each topics (for example some topics has 70 and some only 30) and at least 2 practice exams. Bottom line - recommended for all who wants to prepare and reinforce knowledge on currect Security+ exam

I bought this book to go along with the study guide. I like it and it definitely showed me some things I needed to focus on to do well on the Security + test but if I had to go back and do it again I would just get the study guide and not this book. I don't feel like it adds enough to make it worth it.

Thanks to Darril's in depth and easy-to-understand text, I passed Security+ the first time I took it.Let me caution anyone, do not trust taking practice tests, and hoping memorizing answers will get you through. The real test is not the easiest, and CompTIA requires an 83% minimum score to pass. Learn the concepts presented in the book, and you should be fine with anything the real test throws at you. Use the practice tests as another study guide.In addition, check out Darril's web site for additional study guides and practice materials, including the performance-based questions, which have been added to the real test in recent years.

I purchased 2 books and 3 banks of practice tests like CertBlaster and ExamCram. The questions I saw the most of seem to come right out of the Darril Gibson book. I also highly recommend you purchase access to his site "Get Certified Get Ahead". The performance based questions were almost exactly the ones he gives you on his site. I can't stress enough how much this combination of practice test and questions helped me pass. Best small investment I ever made.

I used this practice test for my Sec+ SY0-301 exam and passed with flying colors. These questions prepare you for the test. Don't study the question, just know why the answer is correct or why the others are incorrect. You have to know the theory and you will do just fine.

Used this book and some other training material and passed the first time I took the test - and I am not network savvy - I am in the IT industry but never had too much interest in the network side - but a job requirement forced me to take the Security+ exam and I made it. This book was a major part of passing.

Was able to read and prep for the exam in 10 days. Read the book, do the practice tests and search online for resources to memorize all the TCP ports and you will pass the exam on first try, no problem!

The practice questions are nicer than many you find on the Web as they explain why the answer is correct and why the wrong answers are not. Nicely formatted for kindle app to do self study. $9.99 well spent.

Il libro è complementare a quello della teoria, utile per approfondire alcuni argomenti e verificarli al tempo stesso.Sinceramente avrei preferito un libro dinamico, ovvero una correzione on line delle risposte, però devo ammettere che così sarebbe più un app che un "libro", per questo motivo suggerisco all autore un app exam practice test.Grazie a tutti,Marco
