I bought this rolling pin as an upgrade to a cheap plastic one that I have and also specifically to make sugar cookies with my nieces and let me tell you, it has made things so much easier.+ It can be cooled in the fridge.My sugar cookie recipe calls for chilled dough, and the issue is you can’t work the dough too much when handling or rolling it out because then it starts sticking and being hard to work with. This can be especially hard when baking with overzealous kids who LOVE to touch and knead and roll out the dough. This rolling pin has alleviated that issue because it’s pretty cool to the touch on it own already, but you can put it in the fridge so its cold when you use it, which really keeps the dough from getting warm as quickly.+ 16 inches longYou can roll out dough way faster. I’ve also made Chinese scallion pancakes using this rolling pin and if you’re not familiar with the process, it involves rolling the dough out into very thin sheets. I can work a lot faster with this rolling pin because the length allows me to roll the dough out more before I have to pick up the pin and adjust its position.+ Smooth bodyMy old plastic pin had a small groove on either end of it, so if your dough went past the ends, it would leave a line. I had to constantly move the rolling pin over to get rid of the groove in my dough. I don’t have to worry about that at all with this roller.+ Stainless steel designNot only is it aesthetically pleasing, but clean up is really easy!

I’m a BIG fan! First of all, I was worried that I would miss having the handles, but after using it, you realize how easy to use it is. I love that it is compact and easy to fit in the drawer. It feels very solid, but not too heavy. I love making pizza dough with it, and you can actually feel the thickness of the dough. I also love how easy it is to pivot as you roll.My absolute favorite part is how easy it is to clean!! I love quality products, and I am very happy with the quality of this rolling pin!

I love it, why did I wait so long to get this rolling pin. The brushed finish makes the flour dusting sticks to the rolling pin. You can also put in the freezer and its stays cold when you roll your dough, this is great. It's really easy to clean, I highly recommend, Thanks Chef Smarts.

I was very worried at first trying this without handles, but OMG I love it !!! You realize after that you never needed them after all. This has become one of my favorite kitchen accessories. Another good feature is that you stick it in the freezer so it doesn’t warm up the dough. It’s very easy to clean and very nice design. I recommend this product.

I've used this so far on french bread and pita and it's worked great with just some flour rubbed on to prevent sticking. Eager to try with a pie crust after a few minutes in the freezer as it stays cool to the touch even left at (winter time) room temperature. It is NOT tapered, contrary to the description, but that has very little impact when rolling out bread, it just means a little extra attention when working with pastry. Love how easy it is to work with and that it doesn't take up much space in my cramped apartment kitchen.

Wasn't sure about a stainless steel rolling pin when I ordered it, but I am in love after the first time using it! You can put it in the freezer to chill so your dough doesn't get warm and sticky. And it's so much easier to clean than the wooden ones!

I couldn’t imagine this new type of rolling pin. To my delight, it’s very easy to use, Super Simple clean up and due to the shape, easy to put in a drawer and not so much space!
