Strap in, let's begin.For starters: I had been using this specific face wash for two years, happy I had finally found something for my overly oily skin. It left my skin feeling clean, fresh, lightweight, and this feeling would last me all day and all night with the twice-daily cleaning habits. I could have cried I was so happy about it. For years, and I mean YEARS, of my 29 year old life I had fought with countless brands, styles, and about 5 different face washes a year trying to find something that would work. I would react and break out more, I would flare up because it wasn't sensitive enough for my skin, or it would leave me not feeling clean, still feeling heavy, and still feeling oily. Nothing had worked. Until about 2020/2021 when I found THIS. It was the Saw Palmetto and Mint, I think, because nothing else had it and it made my skin go through enlightment.I was so happy.I bought it (through the Origins website), refilling it every few months as needed. But it worked. I didn't care about the price, I was just happy something worked. My face started clearing up over time, I only had breakouts during my week of the month, and up until recently, I thought I was set.I was wrong.I had maybe a week and a half left of use of my recent bottle, I go to the Origins website and can't find this particular cleanser anywhere. I'm lost. Is it out of stock? It would still have the picture and just say so. Did I click the wrong collection? No, I was on Zero Oil. Finally, I decide to search for it via the search bar. Zero Oil Saw Palmetto and Mint. What showed up on the webpage? Zero Oil Active Charcoal Detoxifying Cleanser.It wasn't out of stock, it was replaced.Shocked, I tried to make sense of it, going through the five stages of grief and trying to convince myself that this was a mistake. But the reviews had already happened on the website. I was two months too late on getting my last bottle of the Saw Palmetto and Mint. With a heavy heart I read those reviews on the replacement Charcoal Cleanser. One star, two star, one, one, one, two, rage in these people's hearts as they had faced similar or exact experiences as mine. And how this face cleanser, was no replacement.I had to find some backstock, hopefully... maybe.I found this on Amazon. Thrilled and overjoyed, I had hoped that maybe I could order one, make sure it's right and matches the one I have upon my bathroom sink, and then buy more to stock me up until I could find something similar or better. So with some hesitation, I purchased this. It took a while, far longer than what was advertised, and finally my prize showed up.It wasn't the Saw Palmetto and Mint. ...it was the Charcoal Cleanser.Enraged I considered contacting customer support, receiving an item that was not the one I requested. But alas, the final stage of grief set in. This was the only thing I would receive even if I sent it back, and I would be without a cleanser at the start of my worst season: summer. I couldn't be without something, using only water, toner, and a moisturizer? I'd be a bottle of olive oil every day. So I kept it, without complaint.I had to learn one way or another that the cleanser my face craved, and had searched for relentlessly, and had wanted nothing but... was gone. And in its place, was something I did not want.

Love this brand I normally use checks and balances but I couldn’t find it so I tried this one out and it has a good scent and leaves you feeling clean! Doesn’t leave me dry or anything clears face from acne.

I’ve been using day and night for two days now and can tell a drastic difference. I have super oily skin and usually have to blot by at least lunch time or I risk having mirror like shine. Shine is down to a minimum. My husband even likes it, cleans pours great too.

I've been using this for 7 months and I still have a good deal left! It's been great for my acne (I think, you never know really). I like the smell of it too.

I cannot live without this cleanser totally cleared my face

Love this product! It's very gentle on sensitive skin and the mint cools the skin as you lather. My pores look so much smaller even after just a week of using it. A little bit prices than average brand cleansers, but definitely worth it!

I’m sure the product itself works fine but the bottle it came in was faulty. The cap wouldn’t unscrew and the opening in the cap was covered and filled with plastic. I had to take a hammer and nail to the small opening just to be able to get some gel out. Worst part… the cap wouldn’t stay shut leaving gel to leak out all over my counter. I was able to transfer the remaining product to an old bottle. Not cool!

Excellent face wash, at least for me. Pleasant fragrance without being overpowering. I don't notice a lot of residue and it, again at least for me, is gentle enough to use daily.
