BUDDY VALASTRO ITALIAN BUTTERCREAM ICING (Chocolate)

I bought this vanilla flavor buttercream from my local supermarket so maybe the product was fresher and the bad reviews here are from a bad batch or something? Regardless I rarely even write reviews for products I bought on Amazon, so for one I didn’t this is odd for me but I felt like I had to put a yes vote in for this widely despised yet deeply inoffensive readymade icing. I usually make buttercream from scratch but picked this up before my kiddo’s recent birthday as backup. Hadn’t seen the brand before so decided to read reviews on what I bought before I put it on a bunch of cupcakes and whoa! There was very emphatic consensus that this stuff was basically a blend of wallpaper paste and fatberg with a little Covid extract for flavor?!? Or just so terrible in some tediously realistic way?! So obviously I made my own frosting that day! But there were extra cupcakes, frosted those the next day with this and it’s absolutely FINE and I am crazy picky about chemical aftertastes and wrong-melting-point-mouthfeel and all of that. It’s not homemade, ok. But I found it nicer than the other big brand readymade icings, straightforward sugar and vanilla that crusts great and is actually very easy to decorate with. Nothing to see here, people!

It's my bad for not checking the size definitely not worth the money for the size. I got 8 of a different brand for the same amount.

The frosting served its purpose, but frankly we are having a hard time remembering what it was actually like. I guess it was tasty, but my cousin doesn't remember it at all

I haven’t used the product yet however I was very disappointed at how small it was only 13 oz for 6.99. On the same order I ordered white buttercream of another brand it was 4 pounds for $13.89 The pictures made them look the same size. I should’ve read the fine print. However I now how a foul taste for the Buddy Valastro brand.

Sorry but Not happy with my buttercream it wasn’t sealed not trusting when items it’s not seal . package was ok but when opening the tub, I expected to be sealed. As I read other customer review I see I’m not the only one with this problem
