Deepak Chopra's Leela - Xbox 360

I don't know if it helps me relax but it's fun
I was told to look into meditation or relaxation techniques but sitting in one place for hours, without doing or accomplishing anything is not my cup of tea. So I got this "game" as the next best thing. I must say, I've learned a LOT about chakras and it helps with balance tremendously. When in comes to relaxation, the jury is still out. When I can't accomplish an objective, I actually start feeling more frustrated. The 4th chakra (air) movement is ridiculously difficult. Also, I was in a bad mood/mad while playing it this one time and EVERYTHING was annoying me. I wanted to hunt down and eat all the "plankton" in the "Life" movement /:o( but then I discovered the fire ball movement and I just took out my aggression on the "crystals" :o) Muahahaha. I schedule this activity every day before going to bed and I've noticed that I do feel more relaxed and ready to sleep... But maybe that's just because I know that I'm supposed to relax. This game will keep you entertained for hours.

great features but a bit glitchy so far
Used Leela a couple of sessions, and for content it's a 4 or 5. Graphics are strong, the meditation and play areas are both well-done. I bought this at the same time as a star wars and zumba title, this is the only 'game' that has glitched out on me twice now. Both times, I simply closed out and came back and it was fine. Glitched out both in the first meditation level, both times simply froze up. So far, I still recommend it as a 4 since I love the graphics, and the music and Deepak's instructions are very helpful for a type A person like myself who finds learning meditation and energy work challenging. I'm also motivated to 'unlock' new items, and each section was fairly short, and markedly relaxing. For that affect alone, I recommend it.The play section did bore me a bit, so I haven't returned yet, but I'm thoroughly enjoying the meditation/energy portion since it's incredibly effective, especially as the cold cabin fever is stressing my nerves.

Need to relax but your mind always races? THIS IS FOR YOU!!!
I have a hard time relaxing and clearing my mind, am always looking for new ways that I might be able to learn how to do that, and to learn to meditate. THIS IS THE GAME...not even a game, a wonderful resource and tool to help balance myself, and clear my mind. It is an easy, slow-movement game with beautiful sounds and pictures, and as a testament to trying to learn to clear my mind, I did go into some sort of meditative state while playing, as I started the game and the next thing you know, 2 HOURS had passed and it felt like 5 minutes. I LOVE this and would highly recommend it to ANYONE who wants to just take some time to relax, rebalance yourself, and re-connect your body to your mind and spirit.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and open their mind.
I love this game so much I had to buy it again after my toddler destroyed the first one! Great for relaxing and focusing inwardly. Some games are frustrating but it’s nice to be tested in the element and keep the mind set of positivity. A great challenge with zen in mind.

Lovely Way to Get Moving
I was surprised by this product in way I never imagined. I had been suffering with a sciatic nerve problem for months, agonizing, and in one session of play for the muladara/earth chakra, it was fixed! I'm not saying it will fix your sciatica, but I am saying it fixed mine and that you may be surprised to find what little miracles come with your body, mind, spirit play. :)It is fun, pleasant, invigorating but not over stimulating. I enjoy it!

A very soothing experience
I have not gone through all of the game as yet but I just love the meditation sequences. The breathing exercises has helped me to relax numerous times since purchasing the game. I find that even though this is not the intense gaming that my son and his friends engage in, it can still make me feel the cut and thrust of gaming when I attempt to grow my green places with sunlight and rain while trying to get my mushrooms to flourish in moonlight LOL. I sometimes grow quite concerned when I dont get it right and some of them shrivel, but then the meditation just relaxes me.I love my game. Its just right for mature audiences.

Mixed feelings after connecting with both play and meditation elements
I bought this right after buying a used Xbox 360 and Kinect. I figured this would be relaxing and attractive. It's both, but it's a little more relaxing than I expected. The relaxation/meditation portion felt like everything had been dialed down super-slow; it took too long and didn't interest me. The play section itself felt a little slow, but the colors/visual/audio are quite attractive.

Sadly mediore but don't let it taint your opinion of Deepak Chopra
Well, I got what I paid for. I am a big fan of Chopra. But, after a while, this game felt more like work then meditative. I get that it should elevate in challenge. But, when the response time makes you so impatient that you easily fall out of having fun and talk back to the screen like how much farther do I need to stretch to make the game work for me, it discourages anyone who practices regular yoga. This may work for kids but this has little replay for me. I think I paid between $5-$10 for it though so not a major loss.

Quick delivery - so-so content
Item arrived promptly. Maybe it's just me but I couldn't seem to "connect" (or is that Kinect!?) with it. I'm all about meditating but this didn't really do it for me. I'll have to try it a few more times.
