Good & taste nice

These are pretty much regular effervescent food supplement with sweeteners with each tablet containing 1000mg of Vitamin C and 15mg of Zinc. Recommendation on the tube is to dissolve one tablet per day in a glass of water (200ml). Dissolved this in a glass of water. Doesn't taste anything like lemon however, the taste isn't bad. Took this and ended up with diarrhea at the end of the day. Decided to compare this with Berocca's effervescent tablets. Berocca had 476mg of Vitamin C and 9mg of Zinc per tablet. Recommended Dietary Allowance indicates 90mg of Vitamin C for men and 75mg for women. RDA of Zinc is 11mg for men and 8 mg for women. NHS website indicates that too much Vit C (more than 1000mg) can result in stomach pain, diarrhea and flatulence.

These effervescent tablets contain a really high dose of vitamin c and zinc. Easy to dissolve in water they make a very easy to the palette drink that is lemony and leave no after taste in the mouth.I am not too sure of the effectiveness of these tablets as it is a bit early after just taking a few, it might be my imagination but my energy levels are up a bit and I am definetely feeling more sparkly, butnthatxcoukd be due to the lovely Indian Summer we are experiencing. Overall I think these are a good product to give a boost to depleting energy levels but I think they are very expensive as the same products are available for a lot less. I will take the 20 tablets and then I think look Forman alternative with the same ingredients.

These tubes of dissolvable tablets, contain a high dose of Vitamin C (1000mg) and Zinc (15mg) to help support your immune system.Most of the supplements I have used before, for immune support, normally contain blackcurrant, so a lemon flavour made a change. This tasted fine, but does contain sweeteners and is not suitable for under 18’s, so I can’t use the same product for all members of the family.Still, these do seem to have improved the way I feel – less tired and more energetic. I have had no bad side effects so far, but I do feel the amount of Vitamin C is quite high. Still, these are pleasant tasting and – if you order the full six tubes (rather than getting just one tube for review purposes) – reasonably priced.

I think the normal lemsip hot drinks taste absolutely disgusting, but recognise that they're highly effective! I was expecting much the same from these effervescent tablets.Luckily, they actually taste quite nice and are sweeter than the hot drinks. They dissolve really well and really quickly.I'm hoping using them is enough to stave off the usual round of coughs and colds during this time of year.

I've used and enjoyed using this type of tablet for years.These are the most insipid flavour I have come across a weak slightly lemon taste.I much prefer the other brands and flavours such as Orange and the common Blackcurrant.Now a word of warning the tablets are not recommended for children under the age of 18!Add to that they are not recommende for the elderly. So work that one out.The problem with taking these tablets is NOT to exceed the dosage.They can and do cause loose movements.Overall?I've had better.

I have used up the tube I received for review and whereas I like the drink fine - it's a bit more sour than the usual (orange) Vitamin C tablets and less artificial tasting - I have not experienced any difference in my overall wellbeing. I do already consume a lot of fruits and vegetables on a weekly basis, so this might not be aimed at me as a customer and I cannot say whether it might help others. It can't hurt to try. I've not experienced any detrimental effects either.

These tablets are designed to be taken as a drink by dissolving in water, with food. Given that the dose of Vitamin C is a high one, that last part is important, to avoid stomach upsets. Flavourwise, its a generic citrus taste, which was a bit "chemical" although not too unpleasant, but the sample I tried was only 20 tablets so not really enough to assess the benefits. Taking a supplement in tablet form is far simpler and more convenient, so this is not for me.
