It for my tacoma tailgate perfectly, and is thicker/sturdier than the original.

Looks and feels just like OEM
Installs very easily. Of course you use the screws that came with your original tailgate. It seems very sturdy, not flimsy or cheap at all. It’s textured just like the OEM. It fit perfectly, looks great for half the price the dealer would change.

Perfect Fit for 2015 Tacoma
My old tailgate cap was loose. Several clips had broken and it no longer sat on the tailgate properly. I found this on one. I could not make any distinction between this one and the one I replaced. It was a perfect match. I'm very happy with it. It remains to be seen how long it will last in the long run but for now, it looks like it's a good buy.
